Tucked away off the beaten track, is this wonderful very old pub. Plenty of parking, when you enter the building, it's like going back in time.
Some of the beams are only about 5 feet off the ground, there is a lovely warm atmosphere inside, and it's very warm and cosy.

Awesome pub right on the village green, loads of outdoor seating in the sun. The chef makes great food, they keep the beer perfectly, always with a selection of top beers and gins! My favourite pub.
We’ve just found this gem of a pub in Hertford Heath. The food is beautifully home made and really delicious and the service is fantastic. For a hefty stater, try the scotch egg for something truly reinvented and unique. The staff here are absolutely brilliant. We’ll be regulars

Great atmosphere! Been going there since I was little but the new owners have made it so much better. They’re always happy to help and always seem to be filled with happy customers.
Had a lovely family get-together here on a Monday. Good food (with special offers like half price homemade burgers on Mondays), friendly service and comfy surroundings. Just one thing I would say to the team: please check on flat white coffee, it's not the same as a cappuccino ☺️ Will visit again.
A lovely pub in Hertford Heath ,and a lovely pint of Greene King Ipa,there are some lovely walks around here, well worth a visit

Dropped in for lunch yesterday. What a lovely experience! The staff were friendly and professional, the food was freshly cooked and very tasty. The menu is nice and varied, and to top it all Tuesday's half price burger day ! We'll definitely be back
I gave a review of the car meet at the Goat pub last month which did not read correctly, the "pub" is very good I booked it for a wake around a year ago, food and staff were very good and it is a great place to have a car meeting point on the 1st Sunday of each month.

Have paid several visits to this pub over the last few weeks. The food is a cut above, clearly the chef is very capable. Beer well kept you will not be disappointed.
