A lovely pub. The beer was in good condition. The Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. My Wife has an intolerance to gluten and the Landlady went out of her way to accommodate this. A really nice experience and well worth a visit.

Found by chance, during a bike ride as a shelter from a spring storm. Excellent british cuisine and excellent ales on tap. Very welcoming and very nice and helpful waitresses. Average price. If I go back there, I will definitely come back.
Popped into the barge for a lunchtime beer and snack away from the crowds in town. Lovely situation by the river despite the building site opposite where Waitrose used to be.

Excellent venue, superbly located riverside. Huge range of ales, good range of wines, bottled beers and gins. Food is superb, very good value for money, very well cooked, generously portioned. Will be returning.
