Visited June 2023: Cheap and cheerful cafe serving a variety of breakfast, brunch and lunch options. There is limited outdoor and indoor seating but well worth the visit when you get space. The prices are good and the portion sizes are very good too. Wheelchair accessible outside.
Menu wih different offers. Big portions. Taste was good! Service- very good! Good price!
Not entirely sure how I managed to finish the plate put in front of me. The portion of bubble was probably a meal in itself: and really tasty. Perfectly cooked black pudding — three actually! — crispy on the outside; soft on the inside.
Great little cafe that me and my colleagues visited while working in Hertfordshire.

Sunday early Morning in Hertford, desperate for hot breakfast - Rose Cafe open. Full English (without beans for me) and latte. Good quality and fast service. Toast was too greasy as already with melted butter.
THE place to go, if you fancy a proper café 'Full English'.
Also, though, great for takeaway bacon/sausage/egg* rolls (*delete as appropriate 😉).
Good food, friendly service and it doesn't hurt the pocket.

I needed a second cup of tea to help it go down. This is the first time in this cafe which was very clean and tidy. Very polite staff and great service. Good prices though I did use cash as 'No cards' policy was active. I'm definitely going back aga

Clean, large portions and cooked well, waitress service excellent., room for mobility users. Ist time will visit again next year.😁

Had a lovely very late morning breakfast at the Rose cafe. friendly staff, nice clean tables and chairs. Nice food, good portion sizes and very reasonably priced. Coffee or tea included in the price and they took credit cards. .
We will be going back again.
