So suprising and so welcoming. Yes the rooms were small but for the price and the short notice booking we didnt expect much more. The room was clean and comfortable. We stayed for two days and two nights, eating all our meals within the premises.
The Inn was tranquil and full of character, ourselves
I attended a wedding, so I decided to stay for 2 days at the horseshoe inn. I immediately fell in love with the place as soon as I walked through the door! Lovely place oldly worldly charm. My room was very clean the bed was very comfortable. Very nice breakfast and very helpful staff who really m
I stayed here from 1st February 2019-3rd February 2019. The room was lovely comfy bed and it was beautiful. They allow dogs in which I thought was really good. All staff were very friendly but a big thank you to Chris dave Ed and the kitchen staff the service from these was amazing couldn’t have ask
I stayed in this hotel with my wife. We had our 40th birthday at the Horseshoe and it was a blast. Don't believe anything that's written here. It's a busy hotel. It's warm and welcoming. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the en suite Four poster room is brilliant. The bed is comfy and there is
Had our wedding day here (July 2010), it changed hands on the lead up to it and everything then started to move smoother and faster. Great service and communication all guest who stayed where happy with the room and pleasantly surprised. Great food served and good breakfast, I have been back for lun
Nicely styled inside(coming areas) and out place with v.good service - feels almost like a family-run place.
Some rooms are a bit too cosy, but you'd still get everything you need for a good night sleep and to refresh yourself in the morning. P.S.Watch out for "angry" pipes while turning on water or
I have to strongly disagree with the negative reviews. My husband and I checked into The Horseshoe Inn after a long day's drive. We reached there about 5ish pm and were greeted by a very sweet staff at the reception. Our room was cosy and clean. We had some drinks and dinner at the restaurant/pub a
Odd place... Not many staff, not much atmosphere in the bar area, and a little dated around the edges. However the food at dinner and breakfast was spot on, and the staff are helpful and friendly, and plenty of parking. Cheap nights stay. Oh watch out for the very thin walls, you can hear everything
My sis in law wedding was held there including the ceremony
Lovely food staff where brilliant. I only gave it 4 stars because the rooms etc really need updated . Apart from that we had a lovely stay.
Stayed here just over a year ago for 4 nights with my son. The new management had just taken over and they were lovely people. The place has a traditional inn feel to it which I quite liked and the owners hadnt quite had time to put there stamp on it. Ill defiantly be heading back when I'm In the ar
4th visit. We love this place. It had just been taken over by new owners. They seemed very nice. Room was ok toilet was leaking and dripping but the new owners had taken over from previous owners who had left it in a state . So hopefully next visit it will be back to tip top standard. Open fire was
After reading the previous reviews, I was initially apprehensive that my wife had booked us in here for 4 nights but my worries were unfounded! The room we had was well appointed ... yes a bit tired and the shower water pressure was not the best (and oh my god there was a web in the corner of the w
Disappointed new management are leaving. It's been on the up for the last six months with good food. Time will tell if new management are up to the task of lifting this huge potential country pub up. Hopefully RelaxInnz will make up their minds what they want from their staff. Is it a pub, a restaur
