A good pub for those with a wheelchair or mobility scooter. Stopped here for a late lunch. Had that favourite dish Cod and Chips with mushy peas. Our food was promptly delivered and you got your monies worth. Had we bought the same meal across the road it would have cost 3x more, so excellent value for money.

We visited Herne Bay on a day trip from London and popped into the wetherspoons for a quick pint. We found the service quick, and the staff friendly and polite. Would recommend.

A Wetherspoons pub right on the seafront at Herne Bay. Much bigger than it looks on the outside. Very popular and busy on the Saturday evening that we visited but food still served in good time and very tasty. Prices excellent as always so the whole family satisfied when we left. Job done! :-)

Everything on this photo cost 26 pounds! If you are looking for old pub with good selection of cheap alcoholic drinks thats the place!

So we found ourselves in Herne Bay on a Tuesday and then found The Saxon Shore Wetherspoons... 'Steak Club'.. it would have been rude not too... £6.45 for a 5oz Gammon Steak and Egg with Bumbu Rum & Pepsi Max.. lovely piece of gammon, good value for money. A nice location on the opposite side of the road from the beach. The weather was lovely so we made the most of the sun and sat outside. Staff were friendly and polite. Toilets were clean. A typical Wetherspoons; lovely, you know what you are getting. A pleasant visit, we left with full belly and enjoyed a couple of drinks too

The darkest of the Spoons...I think it needs different lighting to make a better experience. Food was good, usual good supply of beers etc. A regular stop when I'm in the bay...

Plenty of drinks to choose from. Lots of food on offer. Nice and cheap. Friendly staff, greeted with smiles. The toilets are downstairs, so you do not need to walk up the stairs. Lots of space and plenty of tables and chairs. What more do you want? Love it!

Popped in for a quick lunch. Very good food and quick service. We would probably visit again rather than using some of the local cafes.

Fantastic breakfast for all of us. Helpful and lovely staff. Will return again. One of my favourite places in Herne Bay where we meet up with friends

A lovely pub right on the shore line. It was clean and tidy when we were there and the staff were friendly and polite. There is a small seating area out the front as well as a larger walled-in garden out the back. Nice place to be on a beautiful sunny day. The Guinness was excellent as was the Doom Bar

Stopped off for lunch and ordered mixed grill with Mediterranean salad, the sausage was very tasty, but all the meat was too dry and hard to cut and chew My grandson & his girlfriend’s food was all ok Can’t beat their prices though

A typical Wetherspoons and that's a compliment. Good atmosphere, friendly helpful staff, decent food, good selection of real ales and great value. Located right on the seafront so convenient to nip in to for a lunchtime pint and snack and also for a meal in the evening. The standards are high and the staff quite rightly ask disruptive punters to leave which some people seem to object to but which the vast majority of people appreciate.

Usual Wetherspoons format. The service was good, the food was great quality. Just a bit chilly due to the air-conditioning.

Traditional Breakfast always normally good value. But I sat down at 10am to tuck into a very cold breakfast, Beans were fridge cold, Hash browns and Egg and Sausage all room temperature. Food was fine but definitely needed a good 2 mins in the microwave. To top that, both drink machines produced boiling water and milk for an Hot Chocolate.

After a bracing walk along the seafront in Herne Bay we had a lovely lunch in the Saxon Shore. Very safe, staff great and burgers for lunch.
