Quality establishment, food is fantastic staff can't do enough for you. Had lunch there twice during our holiday, I would recommend tis place.
Yum yum yum! Went here with my brother and family on my 44th birthday, as we used to go with our grandparents when we were kids. We all had massive and delicious ice-creams. The flavours of each were sublime, and evoked all the memories. A lovely place with excellent staff.
Amazing ice cream and the staff are so friendly. We've just come back and they couldn't do enough for my kids and even brought a bowl of water out for my dog. Really lovely sitting outside in the evening sunshine. Great experience.
Always a first stop for coffee. A second stop for lunch a bit later (always a huge plateful of whatever is ordered .. never disappoints) and another cuppa before leaving for home. Always a smiling welcome no matter how busy they are. Keep on doing what you keep on doing �

Lovely cafe on the seafront at Herne Bay. Nice view from window seats. Coffee good, I had Americano, and partner had Latte. Free WiFi, comfortable seating, and a nice and clean restaurant area. We had breakfast here, I had the full English, and Partner had the fresh fruit pancakes. All cooked fresh and served nice and hot. There was nothing to complain about. This place is worth a visit if your passing.
Lovely lovely accommodating staff. Helped me with the cake I brought in for my friends birthday, took pictures for us and were generally cheery and attentive even in busy times. We had waffles and crepes, extremely sweet but we enjoyed them. Beautiful area and decorations.
John made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in and one of the kids had a milkshake made with love and affection . Will defo tell everyone to come here .
Great gluten free fish and chips right on the sea front! Quick, delicious and I had no reaction afterwards as a coeliac. Only took a star off as it’s an extra £3 for gluten free batter on the fish. The batter was delicious and crispy though!
Lunch at the coast on a sunny day. Lovely! Plenty of menu options in addition to the normal seaside fish and chips. Very generous portions. Choice of indoor or outdoor seating. Umbrellas provide shade. Musical accompaniment from a saxophonist, but recorded backing track was intrusive at times.
Friendly staff, efficient service, lovely food. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. We didn't take any cakes away this time but I can assure you that the cakes are gorgeous and portion sizes are huge! I would highly recommend this venue.
Cleaned, tidy, with plenty to choose on their menu. Plus, it's a great location with plenty of tables. It seems the restaurant is dog friendly as a couple were at a table with their dog. Dog behaved 100%. I had the lasagne, which before ordering I asked if there were any mushrooms in it. Was told there wasn't. After removing the mushrooms in my lasagne, I found it to be very tasty. Good job I am not allergic to mushrooms. I just don't like them. Despite this, I would recommend, as for me, I enjoyed my visit.
Don’t get confused there are 2 cafes near each other , both serving great food and drinks and amazing ice creams too .
Visited the Bandstand Makcaris today , live music and great atmosphere, friendly staff and quick service , sunshine helped .Dog friendly too and great for people watching.
Best gluten free fish and chips we've had. Very friendly staff too. I recommend a visit if you're in Herne Bay. Try the Haddock 🐟
Lovely staff and lots of ice cream to choose from and they do sorbet too if you are lactose intolerant or have any other milk allergy. I chose mango sorbet with mango sauce , it was lovely! And not bad prices for right on the beach front. Very clean 👍
