In a way I'm kind of sad because pizza will never be the same again for me now, this is it, the top, the pinnacle of pizza perfection, and don't even get me on the courgette batter chips, outrageously good, have been planning to come for a long time (since the guardian article at least) and got an Airbnb down the road in whistable and walked along the seafront to herne bay, im so happy right now in a way I never understood pizza could make me,

Amazing - was here yesterday and can’t wait to come back (unfortunately we don’t live in Herne Bay so May be a while �!). I had the Linguine allo scoglio and it was out of this world and the olives were just perfect. Love love love, would definitely recommend. Also had the desert of the day which was a warm orange cheesecake type thing and I have never tasted anything so fabulous - if I could give more than 5* I would! Thank you for a fabulous meal!!
Lovely restaurant with exceptional choices for adults aswell as children( my son loves the pasta here) food is always amazing with excellent service (quick and all options explained), would very much recommend. Prices are good for what you get and the seafood is always a great choice

We didn't have a booking but the friendly staff managed to find a table for us. Nice,rustic feel to the restaurant. Staff very attentive, dishes described well. Beautiful food! We all enjoyed it! Would definitely recommend!

Just returned from my first visit to A casa mia for my belated birthday meal with family enjoyed some delicious food and particularly good draught peroni along with great service and a very reasonable price would be happy to recommend this restaurant and will definitely return when i get the chance and i always like to support independent restaurants especially when they are family owned and run. The fact that even on a sunday night in late September in herne bay the place was pretty busy should tell you its worth a visit as sunday in the bay is a quiet night. #calzoneclassicowaslovely

Me and my family have just come home from having 1 of the best meals we have ever had.The services the food the price the atmosphere was all absolutely beautiful without a doubt we will be enjoying many more nights here

Our first visit to Casa Mia and were greeted as though we were their only customers. We hadn't booked, but they did everything to find my wife and I a table given they were fully booked, so on that front, it was excellent service.
The restaurant was run very well given the unusual layout and, again, treated us very well indeed.
Food was of excellent quality and well presented but surprisingly not too expensive, so even better. If a fault had to be found, then I might say a little salty, although that might just be the type of chosen pizza. Still, the pizza was excellent, and all was consumed.
It is most definitely a place to return to when we visit Herne Bay again.

We live nearly 200 miles away, so whilst visiting family again, my wife and I decided to pop back in to Casa Mia, given that we remembered what it like the last time, and we were not disappointed. Great service and superb pizza. The flavours evoked memories of when we were in Italy, so that would surely tell you something. Not much else to add other than a thank you to the staff there and again, a great pizza restaurant with plenty of accolades and recommendations from professionals, and that surely says something. I'd recommend this place and we'll certainly return for another meal there. Ps, my added photo of a slice of pizza doesn't do it justice. I nearly forgot to get a photo as I was keen to tuck in.
It's really great pizza. Quick service from polite and friendly staff.
It's easily the best pizza in Herne Bay. I had the Diavola but tried the Marinara and Margherita too, and they were all spectacular.
Soft drinks are served in the glass bottles as they should be.
Had deserts too, which were of a similarly high standard
Would definitely recommend it, but remember to book as even on a weekday early doors the place was still quite busy.

Nice restaurant good service pleasant staff. Tasty pizza and pasta. But don’t expect any of the seafood you’ll see here in photos. There are no razor clams, vongole, shrimps or in fact anything from the sea. We were informed the chef has changed. I guess the new one is allergic to seafood 😂

Seafood ravioli excellent 5* - sauce beautifully balanced and not oily at all. Star dish - would come back for this and order again! The chef is clearly very skilled with seafood.
Cheese garlic bread - would order without cheese next time as too oily but garlic flavour good. Half of the base was burnt, but the other half was perfect. Lots of good pizza reviews - may try another time.
Penne/aubergine/tomato bake floating in oil and little taste - would avoid.
Lovely experience this evening we were served by Natalie and amber who were both very welcoming and lovely. Excellent service with a smile. Food delicious would definitely recommend and come back! Great atmosphere mid week as was worried we would be the only ones. Very sweet in wishing me a lovely birthday. Satisfied is an understatement.
We were at Herne Bay for 4 days, and we got takeout twice at A Casa Mia. Delicious Marinara pizzas, Margarita pizza, perfect base and crust. Very friendly staff. Recommend this to all who visit Herne Bay.
We have visited A Casa Mia many times. We keep going back because the food, service and atmosphere are just brilliant. Would definitely recommend if you haven’t yet tried it

We went as a family of 5, with 3 children, 1 of which has additional needs.
Whilst playing a game to ensure the youngest didn't fall asleep before dinner arrived, we were shocked to be told to be quiet, very rudely, arrogantly and bluntly, by a family of adults (particularly the father) who were sitting on the next table.
Luckily, the restaurant were mortified when they found out at the end of our meal and loudly assured us that they are a family run establishment and that children are always welcome at their restaurant.
Another table with a family sitting close by also reassured us that we had done nothing wrong and commended us on having dinner with 3 young children without any devices.
We are grateful that we were supported in such a shocking situation and we hope that the family who were rude to us learn to approach things in different manner in future, or even better, just ask to be moved to another part of the restaurant if you don't like children, or find an establishment who don't welcome children!

Delicious food but the menu does not offer much gluten free food. The garlic bread is the size of a pizza and is yummy!
Food was delicious, staff were lovely and friendly not only to myself but to my children too. Great atmosphere.

Very nice pizza, a very friendly atmosphere the staff were excellent. We had a table of 14 and were very well looked after.
I've been coming here for years and have never been disappointed. The food is always delicious, the staff is friendly and approachable and it's my favourite place to eat in Herne Bay =)
