It was a quiet Monday lunch time, so no supprise lacking in atmosphere, they had filled up a bit by 2pm when we left. Seemed to be lots of regulars / locals which is always a Good sign 😁. Food was very nice, two wraps; although it took a while - so ask wait time if you are on a tight schedule. Staff were friendly, and helpful, everything nice and clean, NO sticky tables / bar top.👍

Came for a Sunday carvery, party of 6 for the first time. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Welcomed by the staff, all friendly, service was great, carvery was amazing, proper gravy made, lovely options on meats and veg, the cauliflower and broccoli cheese was very nice too. One note was the roasties, they could be slightly crisper but that's individual choice. Will be back again soon!

A bank holiday of grafting led us to call in at The Wye Inn for some food. I had the fish and chips and my partner had the veggie lasagna. Ticked the box for both of us. I much preferred their fish to that from the local chippy/s and would happily pop in here again instead. A decent bit of food was what was ordered and that's what we got. Not ridiculously cheap and not ridiculously expensive. A better choice in ale would be nice as only HPA was available. Feel sorry for the owner having to respond to some bizarre reviews on here!

Service and staff were great, I loved the menu, the way the food was priced in column £6 £8 £10 etc. When the food came out, it was quick and of a great standard,. This is value for money. I should add, dog friendly pub as well.

Portion size was smaller this time and not worth the money IMO. Outside has been changed to a grey concrete landscape ideal for plenty of seating but not so good for dogs in the heat. The previous grass may have been worn away but at least it added colour and something cool underfoot. The music was a bit too upbeat for a quite Thursday lunch with songs about Jesus taking cocain playing. Not really suitable if you are taking small impressionable children. I like the place but I feel this visit was a bit of a let down.

Booked a table for a family birthday Food was beautiful, not one complaint off all 15 of us. All meals came out together Staff very helpful and even rushed a forgotten meal for my grandchild Very good money for value and the kids had a lovely area to play in Well done to The Wye Inn team, you deserve a massive Pat on the back from us . xxx
