What a gem! Had a fantastic meal in this gorgeous little restaurant. Beautiful interior, fantastic service and food was delicious! Only downside was that they'd run out of Tiramisu!! 😵

Dined her as part of a corporate meal on a busy weekend evening. I adore Italian food and dined in Italy many of times wishing I lived there. This restaurant was amazing. Authentic Italian cuisine at its best. Shared a mixture of antipasti ans i had the pizza, it was heavenly and so we're the cocktails. It was an extremely busy evening and the ladies looking after us were super friendly and brilliant at their jobs. I would dine her 3 times a day if I could. Thank you for a wonderful evening. Looking forward to coming again
Fantastic experience and gorgeous food! A little more expensive but you don't mind paying for freshly cooked quality food. Frogs Legs & Gnocchi are amazing! The best Tiramasu dessert ever , accompanied with some outstanding cocktails.Without a doubt the best Italian restaurant in Hereford!!!
Such a great find, while staying in Hereford. Authentic Italian/Sicilian dishes, very tasty with a lovely selection of Italian wines, beers, and good tasting cocktails. Impressed with the welcome and service and the relaxed ambiance. Being a 'foodie' reassured by the authenticity of this family owned (by 2 chefs) restaurant that started out cooking at festivals and events. Finishing off with the tiramasu confirmed how good the food is - one of the best restaurant tiramasu's I've tasted for a long time.
The BEST meal I have had in such a long time. The food was absolutely fantastic! The service was spot on and the food was amazing incredible! I cannot wait to return.
Visited lastnight with my boyfriend for valentines night and must say food was very tasty and well presented altho my boyfriend was disappointed with presentation of his octopus as was not the instagram photo he had seen 🙈 lol but taste was present 🙌 i loved that we were out the back with the burners to keep us warm only thing id say is our legs were freezing lol but overall food atmosphere and top service off all staff members would definately return

Loved my visit, delicious food and a great overall menu. If I lived locally I'd go again and taste more of the dishes. This is tasty Italian/Napolitan cuisine with few anglifications, so get ready for a great experience.

Had a really hard time deciding on which dishes to get as so many lovely things to choose from. Was not disappointed on my final selection at all! Lovely prompt service.
Cotto delight at Hay Festival
Excellent, friendly service, Laura and Grace really looked after us. The delicious food was perfect for the setting.
First I must say the food was out of this world, so delicious and flavoursm. Below os the bottle of wine we had with our mains. Went perfectly well with the stuffed chicken milanese and sausage ragu. Also what was fantastic was the aubergine dish. The calzone was also spot on and nice and big. The garlic bread was amazing as well.
So reasons for been 4* and not 5* was we was offered water for the table and naturally assumed it was free but was charged £4 on the tab. 2nd reason the staff seemed to be rushed off there feet and very hectic and not a calm manner. We was given someone else's main courses before ours actually came. There was a good 10-15 minute wait as well waiting for our bill to be given to us, you probably could've just walked out the door.
I would also say from the time of ordering drinks and food, the food came almost instantly it was so quick.
What an incredible find in downtown Hereford. Wonderful cocktails, great service and excellent Italian inspired food. We went on New Years Eve and it was packed, and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. Ellie, our server was outstanding. The food, prepared lovingly by Francesco, the chef owner, and his excellent kitchen staff, was simply top notch. My wife and I had a Cornish crab linguine, and my family had various yummy Napoli style pizzas. All were polished off. We shared a couple of fun and tasty deserts, and all the cocktails were outstanding. Thank you and great job all.
Cannot recommend Cotto enough!!! We had such a lovely night, the atmosphere is lovely, staff are super friendly (shout out to Charlotte for being fab), little on the pricey side but food was worth it!!!
