Have had some really good Chinese takeaways recently.. Orders always correct. Lovely & hot if we have them delivered.
Delivery was fab and young girl and her father delivered . Such a lovely smilie friendly young girl . And food was hot when delivered and absolutely gorgeous . Best chicken chow main I’ve had ever . Definitely be getting food from them again .
We used this chippy/Chinese for many years whilst living in the area for over 20yrs through the 80’s, 90’s and early 00’s always good tasty food at a good price. The last time I had food here was last year, I was just visiting for a few days… says a lot.
Some people used to say the chips were greasy but as with all things it’s what you get used to and for me this chippy set the standard.
We would regularly have a beef curry, probably once a fortnight and again, it’s what you get used.
Went in last night for special curry and rice, I had the same last week must say it is the nicest Chinese I have had in ages and staff are really nice.
Had chips and sausage, doner meat and chips all really nice! Great takeaway we had it delivered didnt take long either, would order again!

Food from here is wonderful, very reasonable prices, and the selection of English food s great, and then you see they are a Chinese takeaway also.
What more could you ask for.

Excellent take-away; a traditional fish & chip shop with quite extensive menu plus wonderful Chinese food from the marvelous Mr Wong.
I love the Mermaid fish bar, their staff are so polite and nothing is too much trouble for them. Also the food is really tasty, so makes me want a take out Chinese food especially
Had a Chinese for the first time was great staff were helpful and friendly and are now doing gluten free chips a bonus
