Utterly brilliant. There were 22 of us. 12 adults and 10 children. Sounds awful right? Not at the Crown Inn. Plenty of board games to keep the kids and adults entertained. Though, I lost at Scrabble 😥
Food was excellent and so was the service. Nothing was too much hassle and the cider was amazing. The star of the show was the fresh horseradish sauce. The best I've ever tasted, and made me wish I'd picked the beef. That said, the pork was amazing too.
Will definitely visit again next time we are in the area. We need more of that horseradish and cider in our lives 😋
Very nice English pub with yummy food.
Helpful friendly staff.
Just the tables could have been a bit cleaner otherwise everything perfect. Had a great lunch with the family on a Saturday. Not too many people.
I'm not normally a fan of pub food as most places are rather standard and disappointing, however, the food at The Crown were exceptional! (even got a simple bowl of chunky fries right!!)
The cheese souffle and crab bap from the daily special menu were superb. Texas pizza was a tad sweet for my liking but they have this hot sauce that spice up perfectly.
Roast beef and cauliflower cheese were delicious.
Generous portion for small fish and chips.
Really friendly staff aswell, great service.
Really great pub with a nice selection of food. We had some pizzas which were amazing - highly recommend black garlic, olive and blue cheese pizza. Staff behind the bar were really friendly and helpful. A fair amount of free parking round the back of pub and a nice pub garden.
The Crown Inn was recommended to me, and I'm very pleased it was. The service is friendly and attentive and the food is excellent and well presented. The menu is not extensive, but there is a specials board and vegan and vegetarian options available. There is plenty of room between tables making the pub wheelchair accessible. There are a few local beers and ciders on tap. Dog friendly also. The Crown is family owned and run and has a real pub charm. There is a outside area for eating and drinking which has beautiful views.
We visited the crown inn for a midweek meal while staying at a nearby Airbnb, the owner and staff were very hospitable and made us feel very welcome, the food was very good, excellent pizzas for their pizza oven and tasty wings on "wing Wednesday".
Excellent host, food, ale and draught cider.
All reasonably priced.
Atmosphere professional, friendly and welcoming.
Loos clean
No negative feedback.
An excellent pub.

On the 6th July I was traveling with our cricket club from Australia and we had pizzas served up by Ross, Luke and Nathan. They were awesome and the boys looked after us so well. Hopefully we can come back some day! Highly recommend their pizzas!
Highly recommend the Sunday lunch. My partner and I both said it's by far the best roast dinner we've ever had! Very friendly, attentive staff and lovely tasteful surroundings.
Stopped in for Sunday roast at Easter. Great grub, decent beer and a nice atmosphere. Friendly and accommodating staff, would definitely recommend. Looked to get busy after kid's lunch time so worth booking
Lovely quiet country pub. Adequate parking. Choice of inside or outside to eat. Small but comfortable. Staff are helpful and friendly
We stopped here for a cider on the way home. The kings cider was great! Lovely to sit in the garden and enjoy the sunshine
Great food had a lovely roast pork Sunday lunch and Ross was a great staff member who looked after us well definitely recommend you trying it out
Great cricket memorabilia including a bookcase full of Wisdens, brilliant staff and nice outdoor space.
I would highly recommend the Crown. Wonderful location especially for walkers with stunning views.
The food was fabulous, presented to a very high standard.
Great service, check them out, you won't regret it 😀
Fantastic food with really helpful staff. Lots of authentic character from a traditional Herefordshire pub.
Very welcoming and had some great food there
Glorious beer garden with countryside views, at the start/end of some great country walks. Lovely selection of pub grub - highly recommend the parmesan and pancetta fries! The pub’s own “Kings Cider” is a proper thirst-quencher to enjoy after a long walk.
This was our first visit for a while and decided to do the set menu for Christmas, we were greeted with a warm welcome from Maria and enjoyed a quick pint before dinner. Well, the dinner was a delight, Max had exiled with his delicious menu, the Crown Inn is definitely worth a visit and you must stop for food. Would advise you book first. Thankyou both for a lovely evening...
