We had a very nice meal here. It was my brother in law's choice and indeed I'm not sure I could have found the place on my own. He had been several times before.
All the food was delicious. I had the special fried rice, a generous portion.
There were no sweets offered but the complimentary ice cream was welcome.
What did surprise me though was the fact that we arrived at 7.15pm on a Friday night and we had the restaurant to ourselves.
The floors are very uneven for the visit to the loo upstairs making me wonder if I had a little too much to drink!
Food came early and was really tasty, we got free prawn crackers and fortune cookies which was a lovely extra. All came hot and fresh, would order again.
Very friendly and cosy restaurant. Staff were very professional and happy to help with special requests. The meal was served in style and the flavour was superb. One of the best Chinese meals I've ever had. Will certainly visit again.
first and last time I order food from this restaurant, I have never tasted sweet and sour sauce like it, absolutely dreadful, i've had to send out for more chips as there was barely enough for one person, waited for an hour and 15 minutes, wish i'd had fish and chips. Given it one star as it did turn up.
Our favourite restaurant (for Chinese anyway) in Hereford, we love this place! It's Hereford's best kept secret. Absolutely delicious food and friendly service. Can't recommend The Lotus enough. Fast delivery too. Try it, you won't regret it.
I ordered a takeaway by phoning up and the person on the phone kindly told us there would be a 2 hour wait due to how busy it was which was no problem for us. When are food arrived it was very enjoyable, we will be ordering again soon :)
Excellent service, excellent food, have used this superb restaurant three times in the past three months and the standards have been exceptional each time. Our last visit was to celebrate my wife's birthday, we were treated like royalty!
The service and the food is excellent. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Also if you let them know it's a special occasion they will make sure they will decorate for the occasion. The Lotus never disappoints x
First class from phone order to collection to empty plates. Prompt, polite and well priced. Good portions comprehensive menu and well cooked. Just can't fault them, will be visiting for a sit down meal soon.
Excellent food and service. Very reasonably priced too. Try the salty spicy squid. Contrary to another reviewer the owner has never been anything other than courteous and pleasant.

This is a good Chinese Restraunt have ordered delivery and also dined in and collected its genuinely very good and doesnt deserve the bad reviews I have always found the staff to be Welcoming and Friendly I have never found a problem with the food nor the prices its very good for Chinese food
