Food cooked beautifully. No fancy food here just well cooked, freshly cooked good pub food. The steaks are especially great value for money and cooked exactly as you ask. Drinks at good price. Friendly local people. Bit like Cheers -where everybody knows your name!
Had a number of full English breakfasts from the Herdsman, through Deliveroo. Food always arrives piping hot, everything cooked perfectly, and more than I can manage on some occasions. Really good food.

Afraid I can only rate it on Breakfast (which is served all day). Had the Big Breakfast and was delicious, all items well cooked (especially fried eggs) and no greasy plate left at end. Would definitely recommend.

The food provided good value and the staff were very friendly.
On this particular visit we ordered the steak and Cajun potatoes and salad, and were happy with the quality of food and value for money. Will probably call again to sample the legendary Sunday lunch.
