The best fish and chips in Hereford by a mile. The chips are always fresh and the batter is beautifully crisp. The staff, especially the owner are so friendly and speedy. Proper fast food.
Oceans is a traditional fish and chips shop located in hereford. Today is the first time i am trying a fish and chips after coming to UK. I told the owner about this, he looked at me and told me that they do give the fish and chips in the traditional way.

Nice fish and chips and big portions. It isn't the cheapest, however the quality is good. Worth noting, grilled fish is not available here, battered only. 🐟🍟
Went here last night after searching all reviews on local shops. I'm glad I went. It has to be the freshest fish ever had so far from coast. Staff were great. 1 review moaned over price but you pay for what you get and it's probably 2£ dearer on a fish meal but worth every penny to get fresh. Will b

The very best Fish and chips with yummy mushy peas. The chef is amazing and the kindest person you'll ever meet. The whole staff are tremendously friendly and grear at their job. I highly recommend Oceans. The best I've ever had !
Absolutely beautiful cod and chips, very generous portions and clean tasting… Perfect batter on the fish, the curry sauce is a sweet and tangy… Lovely staff with a warming friendly vibe, will definitely be eating here again 🥰

Excellent fish and chips cooked to order. Other chippies often cook their fish several hours or even a day before ; you can always tell because the batter sticks to the fish when this happens
So hard to find Gluten free chips that actually taste nice. When I said I was gluten intolerant the young lad serving me was able to inform me of the menu items that contained gluten. Wish I had ordered thirds xD. Would definitely reccomend this plaice to anyone seeking a good bag of chips.
This place is amazing!! The food is so good, tasty and fresh. They cater for Gluten Free as well which is a bonus!
