What a charming little place. Right as you enter the pedestrianised area - 5A St Peters Square. Can definitely be mistaken for a shop until you look at the menu outside. Stepping inside is like stepping back in time. Lace curtains and table cloths. Tea served in proper teapots with knitted tea-cosies, and brilliant antique touches everywhere. All be it this place is small, but that only adds to the charm. A selection of the locals definitely flock here. Other than that, it is quiet as you walk in, but don't let that put you off. It's a perfect opportunity to step away from the hustle. The food is what you would expect from a tea room, plenty good enough for our needs that day. I would recommend popping in.

Proper old fashioned Tea Shop, which happens to serve very good food! Lunch special was Prawn & Avacado Salad - extraordinarily delicious, or so my wife tells me & she wasn't going to share any 🙂

All the staff are always welcoming to each and every customer. I go there every week and they know my name and even sent me a Christmas carc. I go because I feel at home before and after my husband's death last September 2022. I've cried in there and they have always found me somewhere to go that is quiet until I have have got my sadness out if my system. Even if it is in the toilet!! It is SO SMALL there is nowhere else to go. It is such a comfort.

A great place for a cuppa or a meal, a relaxed atmosphere unlike mainstream coffee shops.

Absolutely 5 star, I've had a lovely chat with the owner and received 1st class service. A little gem of a place with traditional loose tea in a tea pot

Only had a coffee, but for £1.80 no complaints from me. Friendly staff. They do a range of food but I didn't try any.

I love this little place, such a pleasure to visit and so quirky inside. They do really good lunch time meals and everything is really enjoyable. The staff are very welcoming and there is a lovely outside space to sit in too.

Greeted at the door and welcomed in with details of gluten-free options. We had a delicious rarebit and a great gluten-free brie and cranberry toasty. As friendly and pleasant a cafe as you will find.
