Just ordered a collection for the first time. On arrival the food was ready and waiting for us, staff were very friendly and even gave me a complimentary beer. The food was piping hot and lovely!! By far the best Indian i have had for a long time! 100% recommend! Thankyou for lovely service and great food �
The best curry I've had in a very long time, would highly recommend this place to everyone. 10/10 for food, service and all the extras. Complimentary drink after meal, free dessert, orange slices, sweets and finally a choc mint!!! This is s must for any curry lovers.

Friendly staff & although guy stated it was very busy being a Saturday night our food arrived hot, and delicious as always. Plenty of chicken in our curries & very tasty. Complimentary dips,salad & poppadoms & warm lemon towels for after!

Grabbed a takeaway last week for the 1st time, was one of the best I've had, complementary bottle of beer too. Went back this week as was greeted with another bottle of beer and the curry was top notch, will be going back that's for sure.

I've always had a very good delivery service from Marygold to the Black Lion weather it be for my self or me and a few customers whilst we're having a few beers. Always been within the hour . I booked a table last week for a table of 9 for staff and friends and we were very well looked after and the food was bloody lovley! By far they should credit them selves with good food and service and very good prices! Thank You all and we will all keep coming back for more. Beautiful!

I’m happy to give this place 5-Stars because the staff were friendly, waiting times were perfectly acceptable for a Friday evening and the food itself was delicious! One of the best Indian food restaurants I’ve been too.
We were not rushed to eat our food, made welcome to stay as long as we liked.
Toilets were clean and presentable.

Meal out with friends. Restaurant really busy. We were tucked around the corner so maybe a bit out of sight of waiters. Food tasty enough and nice atmosphere for a catch up with friends. Some discrepancy with the bill which was easily sorted by the manager.
Fantastic Indian restaurant we went on reviews and wasn't disappointed. The meal was great and the service superb, and after the meal we had surprise complimentary drinks sweets and ice cream that they seem to give everyone. The bill was very reasonable to thank you

I travel all over the UK and use various restaurants when on business and Marygold Indian is unquestionably the best!! The management and staff make you feel so special and the food is a delight and very reasonably priced. There is always a special touch at the end when they give you a complimentary drink before you leave. Highly recommended!!
This is a fantastic indian restaurant. Food superb , cant fault it... we were a group of 8, everyone was served food at the same time. Excellent value and quality. Entrance bad for disabled no handles or ramps in but food excellent
The food was fine but a little too much sauce & the lamb was a little tough. We were a large group, they did bring us all a small slice of viennetta on the house. They do a good mid week deal so not too expensive.
Absolutely lovely staff. spotlessly clean and well spaced out restaurant. Good value for money with lots of choice and treated with lovely aftercare and treats after you've eaten. Would definitely go again.
Every visit is a pleasure, the staff are really lovely, & friendly, the food is great! Plus all the little touches, as in the oranges, sweets, AND then the drinks trolley! Love it!
