In one word...wow! Was blown away with the quality food and level of service throughout our evening. So many little extras to our meal (popcorn, bread, pre-desert) which made it extra special. Loved watching the chefs plate the food with so much attention to detail, they clearly have a passion for good quality food. Staff were keen to get our feedback on each course and were thrilled with our positive comments, excellent to see staff interested and enjoying their job. Well done to all of you, no other place in Hereford compares to you! :-)
We went here on Saturday. We had a fabulous meal. The food and service was impeccable. As a massive foodie, I've eaten and worked in many wonderful restaurants including Michelin starred, and this was in no doubt on par. For the price you get wonderful dishes cooked to perfection. The staff are very attentive in a relaxed atmosphere. I'll definitely be going back. If you like your food and great service this is a bargin. I just want to say thank you for making our evening wonderful.
I have eaten there 3 times this week, brunch, lunch and dinner, exceptional, service excellent and food is star quality (although wasted on my 15 yr old). Sitting upstairs and being able to watch the chefs is an added bonus and all the little extras definitely add to the experience - popcorn, bread and crispy salmon skin, obviously it's not the cheapest place in town but you definitely get what you pay for. Recommended

Only down point was when they were cleaning the kitchen at the end of the evening the waft of lemon scented floor cleaner was unwelcome - but heh hi small Price to pay for such heavenly food

Amazing food and excellent service!! We went for a meal last night and can’t fault it. The service was excellent right from the moment we walked in, the staff really look after you. The food was incredible, the beef was cooked to perfection and the flavours were great, the apple desert was so good we ordered it again to share �
OMG just had the best Sunday dinner, the lamb was to die for, staff couldn't do more and the chocolate brownie was lush, definitely will come back next year!!xx
Went into cellar Door this evening because it looked so inviting and I wasn't disappointed. We only had a drink but the prosecco was absolutely amazing and staff even better!!! Highly recommed this place to anyone. I will certainly be back

We visited the Cellar Door tonight, a quiet Wednesday evening. The food was sublime - definitely worth a special journey. As well as the three courses, there was delicious bread, fresh from the oven, an amuse bouche, plus a dessert starter. Absolutely wonderful. Hereford needed a high-end eatery like this. Will be back!
Me and my girlfriend went for a meal on Friday evening. Starter, main and dessert were exceptional. Great to see a selection of local produce. Very polite and helpful staff, clean restaurant and lovely rooftop terrace. Definitely would recommend to anyone.

Went for Sunday lunch today & it was delicious. We didn't eat until 4pm and the meat was still super tender and the yorky's were amazing. Thoroughly recommend!!! �
I adore this place. Me and my partner came for a few drinks and I was speechless, the decor is phenomenal, absolutely stunning. It looks and smells so clean. All in all such a cute, spacious, well lit place. We were greeted with smiles all round and nothing but politeness, it's a shame we had eaten earlier that day as I'd have loved to try your food. But that just means that we will have to come back. Everything about the cellar door is lovely even the seating, all the added little touches. I can't express how much I loved being there. I felt comfortable and I can't say that about many other places in hereford if I'm honest. Such a shame you aren't that busy as people don't know what they are missing. Thank you for your great hospitality and I can assure you we will be returning very soon. Keep up the good work��
Fabulous brunch of eggs benedict. Great coffee in really relaxing surrounding. Staff were really friendly.
We were surprised there weren't more customers. Perhaps be more obvious with a brighter frontage to catch the eye.
When we visit Hereford again, we will certainly come back!

Great food, particularly for sea food lovers. Good for a cocktail too. Staff are very helpful here. It is a fancy place, the price kind of goes with it... So beware if you're on a budget. Worth it if you fancy some good food and a cocktail to start your night.

It's stated to be a dog friendly place to eat and so five of us plus our very well behaved dog went for a meal and we were very happy with the seating position and can only say it was so very very nice to be served by attentive staff. The meal was fabulous and it was a busy and vibrant atmosphere. Well done to you all and thanks for a lovely evening.

Also had Sunday lunch there - another revelation - having had many Sunday lunches around Hereford, this was by far the best so far.
Very good cocktails and lovely inside. Yes it is on the pricey side, but you get what you pay for. I have eaten here in the past for both Sunday lunch and evening meals and found it to be fantastic.

We were completely new to Hereford and wanted somewhere special for supper. You know how it is - no matter what the reviews, it's always a bit of a gamble.
The reviews for this gem are excellent, as you can see, and we think everything we'd read was justified and very much more.
These days I want to eat fresh nutritious produce, not in pubgrub amounts (where quantity is supposed to compensate for mediocrity), enticingly presented and above all, of course, delicious.
The bright and charming youthful staff brought me a glorious autumn medley of different kinds of beetroot, all a starter should be: appetising and stimulating. My companion had whitebait with a sharp little sauce: very generous amount and perfectly hot and crisp.
The main events were, in my case, roast cod with samphire - meaty, salty ballast - and my friend had a succulent slice of pork belly. Both were exquisitely presented.
With aperitifs and a decent glass of wine each our bill came to £70. It was worth every penny and very reasonable considering the outstanding quality of the food. The reviewers on here who expect this quality of food, service and indeed setting at Spoons prices are being ridiculous.
We returned a day later on our way back home, and enjoyed a quick drink on the vast chesterfield in front of the open fire. Again, warm, lovely service and the sense that nothing was too much trouble.

Popped in unreserved for Sunday Lunch. Lovely welcome with food to match. Beef served pink and meal is accompanied by less commonly used vegetables such as squash, mange tout & leeks. There are undoubtedly cheaper places in Hereford to get a Sunday Lunch but for my taste very few that will be better.
This place is lovely. Very up market. Service was great. We ate from the lunch menu. The burger was really good. Chips were anazing. Good coffee. A little dark un decor. If im being fussy the chairs were a little uncomfortable. Overall a good place to visit

I’m actually still sat in here an hour later, recovering from how good it was.
