We have just had my husbands 40th birthday party in Calon Lodge at the vineyard and cannot rate this place highly enough. From the moment we went to see the venue, through booking and organising the event the staff (especially Kathryn) have been attentive and professional. The actual party was fantastic, the room overlooking the vines looked stunning and the food was wonderful. A night thoroughly enjoyed by all- thank you

I visited for a birthday afternoon tea. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. I was seated near the window overlooking the vineyard, idyllic. I drink Earl Grey tea and was provided with a tea-timer so I could select the perfect infusion. The sandwiches were lovely with a nice selection of different fillings. The scones were divine, served with clotted cream and jam. An array of beautifully made cakes was also provided. Yummy, looking forward to my next visit.

Lovely afternoon tea, nice to have the French bread with toppings rather than sandwiches, great selection of cake and bottomless tea pot ! Good service too

Had a lovely bank holiday afternoon with my 2 daughters. The afternoon tea was beautiful. Lovely, original sandwich fillings & the cakes were yummy too 😊 The staff were fab, very attentive & informative on what was on offer. The surroundings are gorgeous, especially on a sunny day. Would definitely recommend going here & I'm looking forward to returning in the not too distant future.

We've just had a lovely afternoon tea...superb service and more than we could finish. Lovely selection of sweet and savoury and an immense selection of teas. Apparently the girls reported the rose to be delicious! Mum was the designated driver.....typical. Next time we'll pray for the sunshine and sit outside on the terrace and look over the vineyard.

This is one of our favourite places to eat day or night, evenings or Sunday lunch. The location is convenient for us and a lovely part of northern Cardiff. The restaurant is lovely, modern chic, with stylish wood decor and lots of plants. The service is pleasant and professional. Plenty of helpful, courteous staff. The various meals we've had there are just wonderful. Quite rich, but if you like plentifully portioned Sunday lunches or fine meat selections and vegetable options, it's spot on. Good wine selection too, though on the pricey side. Try some of their wines, you won't be disappointed. It really is a special place and a pleasure to dine there.

Enjoyed afternoon tea with friends. Lovely smart setting and the food was good and plentiful. We we're originally put in a booth along front window but no shade, it was baking hot and too bright so asked to move. We were told that it was full when it clearly wasn't. We did move. Service let the experience down - tea was sloppily poured from height into cups, we had to keep calling staff over for a top up.

Great coffee, lovely food. The hot food on the afternoon tea was the best part. The room for afternoon tea is small so if there is a big party in there it gets quite loud, very quickly and not very "chilled afternoon tea" but my mam was happy enough!

We took the wine tasting/vineyard tour followed by lunch at the restaurant . There was a good range of dishes and they all have a recommended wine pairing. Really recommend the mango/coconut meringue dessert with a glass of Llanerch's Cariad Hâf (as long as you like things sweet!)

This venue was recommended by friends and so glad they did. We had lunch there and the menu choices were amazing. The feather blade steak was particularly good, morning he scallops were huge, plump and cooked perfectly, and the range of beer and wine was excellent. There are only a couple of small criticisms. We had a freind with us who is a mobility scooter user, some of the accesses were quite tight and he did have to negotiate these carefully. Also we had organised for wine that accompanied one of the courses and we had our dish and were waiting for the wine, but after ten minutes we had to ask for it. They did bring it quickly but we had taken their recommendation for this wine with the dish and our expectation was it would be brought with it. Food quality and atmosphere is excellent.

Lovely restuarant with plenty of space around the tables. The views from the tables are beautiful looking down to the vineyard. The service was great and all the staff were really friendly. The afternoon tea we had was lovely and the lunch menu that others were having around us smelt and looked tasty too. Would definitely go back here again

Went out with 5 friends, all had amazing food and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Restaurant was busy and wedding was going on in the hotel but this didn't affect quality or service. We all said wey're looking forward to going again.

Have had lunch and dinner here on many occasions, each as absolutely fabulous as the first. From magnificent food, to the venu to the staff to the price. Cannot fault a thing about it. Amazing, it's a must. Will be back soon.

Had a wonderful lunch on the sunny terrace at the restaurant in Llanerch Vineyard today. The restaurant has been remodelled and is lovely. The staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious. I will definitely return. Thank you

Had a festive afternoon tea it was very nice if a bit sparing on the savoury platter. One of everything so two or three of the savoury items would have been nice as they are very small. The sandwiches were nice but again a few more of everything would have been nice considering the price we paid . I would recommend as it was a nice treat .

Superb experience. We were there for Wine tasting Christmas present. We ended up having a meal in the restaurant which was superb. £25 starter & main. Desserts £10 but looked fantastic. Lots of people having cream teas £25 each. There was a wedding there which was seperate but what a venue. We will return

We recently used a wine tasting and lunch Voucher for a birthday present . What a lovely experience. The wine tasting was hosted by a very humourous knowledgeable wine buff .We learned so much about how to enjoy our vino to the full in a lovely atmosphere with a group of around 12 . The vineyard itself is beautifully situation in the Vale of Glamorgan with accommodation a nice bar and awesome restaurant. We loved our two course gastro meal which of of a really high standard . No problems with parking and they even have an area in the restaurant that's dog friendly. We will return in the summer to see the vines in fruit .
