We experienced the food at the upgraded Flower Pot decor on an impromptu visit. It has a very stylish upgrade but without losing the appeal of the previous incarnation. We chose the fish and chips from the menu which was delicious. If you’re thinking along the lines of the local chippy then then think again. This was presented and tasted like an a la carte meal. We met the new owners, the landlady has an infectious personality that will make you want to return again and again. Wonderful food, service and decor. Highly recommended.

I love the new FPH! It's a slice of heaven. The new proprietor has gone to lengths to retain its original charm - some of the fish in boxes remain - not the talking parrot! But the new vibe is relaxed, unpretentious and welcoming. The potted olive trees, elegant teak furniture and plenty of shade make the terrace an opportune spot for relaxation with a good vantage of the sunset. The soundtrack recalls mellow nights in Ibiza. There's a cracking French Provence rose. The food is of a high standard - Today we had a fantastic squid starter - nicely scored, not rubbery. Portions are generous. It won't be the cheapest meal but the prices are fair for the standard. Service is attentive and friendly. A new destination for dining in the Henley and Marlow area and a great stop on river dog walks.

We had a fantastic stay at the Flower Pot this past bank holiday weekend. Short drive from London and amazing country pub which has the advantage of being dog friendly. Amazing food and hospitality and lovely recently refurbished bedrooms. The location is great for dog walks by the river making it the perfect getaway from city life.

Loved this pub before the renovation but now it’s even better. Had a fantastic sandwich and beer in a lovely location, definitely recommend combining with a walk along the Thames nearby.

The interior is very attractive since being refurbished, the garden is large and sunny with a number of olive trees on the patio giving a Mediterranean feel. The ales are well kept and and the food looks good, but have yet to try it. Was made to feel very welcome by the landlady and will certainly be back after a nice walk.

Mr Chris Ballard has created a atmosphere of Traditional English County Pub. I truly enjoyed my Sunday Lunch with Roast potatoes and Gravy that will keep me coming back for More. Locals are friendly and service is Great. I Highly recommend The Flower Pot for any occasions.....!

We love this place. It's everything a country pub should be and even though I understand the ownership has changed I'm sure none of their core values will have changed. Although never had cause to stay on the rooms, as an adult family we have eaten here on numerous occasions, in fact any sunny weekend we have free we make the 100+ mile round trip to enjoy some delicious lunches and relax in the spacious pub gardens. (Well-behaved dogs in abundance) Excellent selection of well kept beers, most popular mixers and spirits seem to be stocked. Great food menu, lots of choice and a brilliant BBQ at weekends (depending on the British weather of course). Friendly and efficient service even when it's incredibly busy which it invariably is. Be patient, it's worth the wait. Plenty of car-parking and beautiful surrounding countryside. It is quite expensive for what it is so don't expect it to rival a Toby Carvery or Harvester on price but you wouldn't be comparing apples with apples.

We had pre-booked as a large walking group. The field at the back hadn’t been opened so parking was somewhat challenging. The place has undergone a refurbishment but has kept its authenticity. Although we were a large group we weren’t asked to pre-book lunch so we’re impressed that the food came out quickly & efficiently. Whilst it was more expensive than other venues it was tasty. The frustrating part was that the server refused to split the bill for each individual & when we painstakingly divided it up he still overcharged one of the members. It would have been more efficient if each member were able to pay at the time of ordering as lots of other venues do. That said, it is a lovely location for lunch after a riverside walk.

Visited this pub since its refurbishment. The garden is great spot to soak up the sun and enjoy a cold pint on a sunny day. Burgers off the outside grill are a cool £18 for an average meat in a bun.

We made a restaurant reservation this evening and it was all just perfect. Delicious and freshly cooked food and attentive, friendly bar staff and waiters. I couldn’t fault it in any way. I loved the attention to detail and the artwork. We will definitely be back!

A long walk from Henley to the Flower Pot along the river with our dogs & friends, we arrived at a busy pub but we had booked a table on the terrace. Great beer selection & even tho a limited menu, we decided to share 2 tomahawk steaks. Got to say, one of the tastiest steaks ive ever had!! Great location, attentive staff, good luck for the future We will return

We stopped here whilst on a long walk, they were doing a Sunday BBQ and it was lovely. The beer was really nice, I understand that the Flower Pot is under new ownership and only opened the week before we attended, I wish them all success.
