We stopped for a coffee and cake at Spoon when visiting Henley-on-Thames. It had a great vibe and the service was very friendly and efficient. I throughly enjoyed my Raspberry Oat Bake, and the coffee was delicious too. It was very busy when we visited, which was a sure sign that this independent coffee shop is very popular with locals and visitors alike.

Absolutely superb breakfast. Delicious & delicate mushrooms, perfect poached eggs, crisp tangy bacon & surprisingly tasty coffee. Only point I would make is too change the playlist. Choose some music to match the quality of the food.. not Heart FM!

Really yummy and cute cafe in Henley. It was a bit busy when we went at 12:30pm on a Thursday but managed to get probably the last free table as we were walking in. You order at the counter and the portions sizes are quite large, especially considering the quantity of avo and salmon. The coffees were also really nice (we had matcha and chai lattes) but not made very sweet - you can of course add your own sugar. Staff were really friendly and didn’t mind that we played cards for a while after we finished eating (it was less busy by then so there were other free tables!)

I loved this caffe , food was so delicious and coffee as well. But I didn’t like that the smell from the kitchen is all over in the cafe .

Great little spot, stopped here randomly for lunch and the soup (chicken and noodle) was delicious. Cosy atmosphere, the cakes looked lovely (if a little pricey), good service. Is noisy when busy as relatively small, but that is what I would expect of most places at lunch time :-)

Popped into this lovely cafe after a long walk with our dog as we saw it was dog friendly. It was really nice inside and very busy we only had to wait a couple of minutes for a seat, very friendly staff, we ordered 2 fruit scones and 2 americanos, which were both, lovely. Our only slight issue as with other independent cafes in this area is no choice of size of Americano, we would gladly pay more to have the choice of a large Americano, this is often the draw to the chain coffee shops, which we tend to avoid. Really nice cafe otherwise.

2 very contrasting visits - arrived just too late (was 3 ish) on Monday afternoon to grab some hot food so decided to try again the following day. So glad we did as this was some of the best coffee (more specifically) flat whites I have had in a while now. They were beautifully prepared. When you see the coffee bubbling through the milk on flat whites you know it’s going to be decent and this brought me back to my days in Australia/NZ where this quality of preparation of flat whites was common place (strength wise). Not only this - the white chocolate pistachio and raspberry cookie was divine!!! So tasty. Hopefully be back to try some hot food soon.
