Booked for a birthday lunch, All the staff were very polite & professional. Venue was exceptionally clean and well presented. Dined in the main restaurant off the à la carte menu, a small selection of choice, but varied. The food was fantastic, but for the price you'd expect it to be. Not a place where you'd eat on a regular basis (unless you've money to burn) great for a special occasion.

Too late for lunch when we called in so looked at the menu while having a drink. We WILL be back as all sounded yum! Great selection of drinks (we even found a beer we hadn't tried before!) Recomended.

Food was fantastic. Extremely well presented and incredible taste. Service was a bit slow considering they weren’t overly busy. On the whole, it was an enjoyable experience. Would highly recommend!!

First Look: The Mount – Henley In Arden After bagging a table for The Mount on launch day, it was lovely to see the buzz of diners walk in through the door. Spot a couple tables outside if you just want to sit and have a drink, alongside various sections of bar seating inside. Many congratulated Glynn on the new opening and there’s a good atmosphere, with diners eager to see what the future will hold for this new restaurant. The Mount has replaced what used to be The Butcher’s Social and the space is vibrant and welcoming. From first impressions, I can honestly say the meal was very, very good. I’ve been talking about the visit to so many people all week and really hope the team do well in that specific location. There’s a lot of passing trade & tourism in that area – so the key will be to ensure more people know about it. The food isn’t pretentious but is pricier than your average, bland restaurant you might otherwise find nearby. The Battered Fish and Chips is stunning - a must try!

Nice atmosphere, service was good, the food was lovely, the cost wasn't too bad either. All in all a good visit.

We enjoyed a truly superb lunch at The Mount. The slow cooked lamb was the best that I have ever tasted. Brilliant decor, service and of course all of the food served. We shall have to return for a dessert next time as starter and main were more than enough for this visit.

Just had a lovely meal here! Highly recommended. We came for the summer bbq event but I’ve been before and it was great then too. At the bbq, mains were delicious, sides incredible- also fantastic value. Lovely attentive staff, great cocktails. We’ll be back!

Not bad, would recommend. Have only visited here a few times for drinks; service and atmosphere has been pretty good (the bartender remembered our drinks which was impressive). Would have rated higher but the manager/supervisor standing at the bar looked us up and down on arrival and didn't even bother greeting us.

Celebrated our wedding anniversary at The Mount yesterday. Enjoyed drinks in the sunshine on the patio, overlooking the garden area, before enjoying a delicious dinner of lamb and asparagus. Great atmosphere and the service, from our first drink at the bar, drinks outside and meal in the restaurant was excellent. Would thoroughly recommend!

Visited today for lunch and was not disappointed. Lovely atmosphere, very polite and attentive staff, and the food was delicious. There are also some super art pieces throughout. We look forward to visiting again in a few weeks time with friends.

Service with a smile and a great Sunday Lunch. The team at The Mount Pub had decorated the front of the pub for Mother's Day and made 8 of us feel very at home. All the Sunday roasts came with a Yorkshire Pudding (big tick) as mine wasn't stolen by the kids. The atmosphere in the restaurant was really 'buzzy' and as expected the food was delicious for everybody. We also went on Friday night too. Lots of people mingling and having fun! Great place. Thank You

What a lovely place 😀. Food, as always, a delight. Staff were lovely to, just the right amount of interaction whilst we were eating. Visited for my Daughters birthday at lunchtime and hopefully (hint hint ) going back for mine.

As always, Glynn Purnell exceeds expectations! If you haven’t already eaten here then you must do. The food is always perfect and the service is attentive. This happens to be almost an hours drive for myself and my family, it is worth every second! We were regular visitors to The Bistro and Gingers Bar, and of course, Purnells, in Birmingham. As soon as The Mount opened we booked a table! Get booked in, you will not be disappointed. And of course, try the scotch egg!
