First time visit and we enjoyed it. Bit of a delay with food, which was unfortunate, especially as the people we sat with got theirs 15 mins before us..... even though we ordered straight after them.
After 6 miles walking along the canal for 9am booking anything would be been good but it really was. Felt like a happy place with energetic staff. Good was great. First coffee wasn't that good, but the second one was boiling. Loved it. Thanks. Now just 6 miles to walk back to the car.
Awesome place to eat. Meals are huge and a good choice of menu. Beautiful surroundings and the staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

Lovely location overlooking the canal basin. Great food choices, good value for money. Might have been slightly understaffed for a bank holiday however staff were friendly and really helpful at all times. Good milkshakes 😀

Visited here for the first time today for Sunday lunch and it was delicious. The staff were lovely and friendly. And downstairs (and outside) is very doggy friendly 👍. As a wheelchair user it was very accessible with a nice, clean loo. From a wheelchair user’s point of view I would say that there are only 2 things (1 very minor) that I would change. The car park is gravel, some well packed so I had to choose where I parked very carefully to make my transfer from car to chair safer. And a mirror in the disabled loo would be nice. I would definitely go back to this place. And even on a very rainy day like today the view was lovely.
We went to The View today and my hubby and I had breakfast. The food was hot and tasty. He had the Ultimate breakfast and I had Eggs Royale. The poached eggs were cooked to perfection. We will definitely return. The staff were pleasant and attentive. The coffee was also lovely
Just a short visit. Found purely by chance as we were passing by. Excellent service, for the hot & cold drinks we ordered. Good to speak to knowledgeable staff that know their ales. A beautiful & picturesque spot. Hope to come back soon to sample the tempting food menu
