Sherry & Malcolm serve up good food at reasonable prices. They are always friendly & welcoming whenever you pop in. Clean, spacious plenty of room to sit & either have a cuppa or something to eat, very popular with cyclists, workers, you name it. Large car park in front of Ye Olde Pound Cafe, ticks

Went here with my brother and had a lovely jacket potato. It’s a really cosy place to go with friendly staff and good food. ALSO ITS VERY GOOD PRICE!!!! SUPER IMPRESSED

Sherry and Malcolm went out of their way to serve me and my three children after a couple hours in the car. Do yourself a favour and skip the services and come here. She makes a delicious BLT, the facilities are immaculate and there is lovely seating both indoors and out.
Nice breakfast and coffee.
The sausages aren't the fancy ones you get at other places.
It is a big breakfast with loads on it great if you have a big day out planned.
I haven't been here since coming over here with the road cycling club year's ago. It's back to the days when the sisters used to own the place. We arrived early in the morning, around 7ish, an old lady and old gentleman served us, we had full english breakfast, which was lovely and the service was excellent. They were welcoming. The shop and the toilet was absolutely clean and tidy. Huge parking space available.
This is the first time I have stopped here, and as a Class 1 hgv driver, it is difficult to find a cafe that caters for HGV'S and families in this area.
The cafe is excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast I ordered arrived very quickly and was piping hot.
