We chose this restaurant to celebrate my mum's 70th birthday, and it exceeded all expectations.
From the moment we walked in, the staff were so friendly. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, accommodating to our every need. Lorna was fantastic with the whole booking in general with making sure everything was perfect for my Mum’s special day.
The food was amazing- everyone was really pleased with each of their starters and mains. Highly recommend.
To top it all off, the service was fantastic. The waiters were quick and attentive and Lorna added an extra touch of joy to the celebration.

We've eaten here tonight. The food was amazing. We had spicy katsu chicken curry with rice. This came with a plate to visit the salad bar (lovely selection of salad, dips and nachos. We also ordered a pudding, fruit crumble and custard, it was beautiful. The cost was £45.00 including main course, pudding and a drink. Parking is plentiful and just outside the entrance. Service was quick and friendly. It wasn't too busy today so we got a seat without a problem. We would definitely eat here again.
I have been to the lacon Arms many times and the food is lovely and really well priced. The staff are lovely and always happy to help. The atmosphere is very nice. They are child. Friendly with an outdoor play area
First visit here and will be many more in future. Absolutely 1st class service, food superb and lovely setting. Even when a food item came wrong, it was rectified without any fuss and very speedily. Lady in charge was absolutely amazing, she’s a natural at her job. We will return again future.

Just visited today for mothers day carvery. Even though we arrived slightly early we were seated straight away, all staff very friendly. Mum's even received a handmade gift, The dining area was decorated with lights and mothers day balloon really added to the atmosphere the food was great we will definitely be back was well worth the journey

Turned up without booking and the lovely staff welcomed us, a party of 6 and 2 dogs, with genuine warmth. I had a problem with my meal and they couldn't have done more to sort it out. We are so thrilled with the size and quality of the meals that we will definitely go back before we go home. Top notch service Sian & the ladies and thank you from the pea loving pooch x
This is our second visit to lacon arms.
As we live local we thought would give it a try.The carvery was lovely, food was lovely & hot. We went for a Chinese banquet evening. Again food was amazing. Staff was friendly, made us feel welcome. Highly recommend.See you all very soon.
Our dogs were welcomed, and we could sit anywhere inside. Great food and friendly staff. Toilets are impressive.

Birthday party with over 20 people present. The staff was great in helping to organise and make everything happen smoothly. Great atmosphere and food.
We stopped here on a cold day to have a drink and warm up. The staff were nice. We just missed Sunday lunch but managed to get a dessert, which was nice. We will be back if ever in the area 😊

We went for our 40th anniversary meal, we were warmly greeted as we entered. Lovely friendly staff.
We had carvery which was delicious.

Came across the Lacon arm while stay in Hemsby, was pleasantly surprised, the staff couldn't of been any friendlier, and the food was to die for. Will definitely return when we come back to the area.

I booked a table for six about a week in advance it was a family dinner for my 80th birthday . The table was set with paper placemats with happy 80th birthday printed and four balloons at one end of the table .i hadn’t asked for this and therefore surprised ,The food and service was second to none ,the staff and owner was so very polite and friendly ,I will recommend this place forever .Great venue👍👍

So where do I start.....
If you sit outside you can use a QR code and order drinks which arrive very quickly but if you are inside you have to go to the bar even though the menu says they offer table service. The owner was they try to offer table service but when it’s full it’s really hard and they simply don’t want to compromise on the quality of food and service so better to do it properly or not at all.
Ok next if you wanted a Lemon Gordon’s gin and use the QR code they charge £6 and yes it’s a mistake with the app but 24 hours later they haven’t fixed the glitch which is disappointing but have been told the company which runs the service needs to fix it so hard to argue with that
The staff are wearing face guards and are doing there best to keep the place clean but one the way system doesn’t work and no one is following is following the system.
Today 25th Aug we have a table booked which has been reserved and was waiting for us which is great however to order food you have had to go to the bar and order and just our luck today no ribs or lasagne which is what we wanted.
However that being said we order food at 7.35 and it arrived fresh and hit just over 15 mins later.
The food was lovely with great portions and was full of taste.
So in summary the drinks ordering process not fantastic but service, staff and food make up for the other minor issues.

I want to start with a massive thank you to all the team at Lacon Arms for making my Mothers Day so special. We had a table of many allergies from Gluten, dairy free and soya free but this was no trouble for them and never made us feel a bother where in restaurants before it has felt that way. My daughter is highly allergic to dairy and also has a soya allergy too which as you can imagine I was very nervous about taking her out to eat but Alice sat down with me and spoke through everything making sure it was all safe which really made me feel at ease and was a lovely touch. You can tell she takes pride in her work and really does care about giving the best customer service! Also a big thank you to the chef (sorry I didn't manage to get your name) for taking your time to come over to the table and speak to us too again not many places would have done this on a very busy day. The food was fantastic and my daughter definitely enjoyed her first ever carvery and dessert as she has never been able to eat a dessert out before! I have to say Lacon Arms has been the best restaurant/pub I have eaten at that caters for everyone from dietary requirements to allergies you are doing an excellent job! We will be back again I'm the Summer!
