We have been to this pub a lot recently. Sunday's dinners with in laws, my mums 70th birthday party and Christmas Day. On every occasion the staff have been lovely and the food great quality for the price. Mums party buffet was excellent and we had good comments from our guests too. Christmas meal, considering how busy it was, all cooked very well. Anyone working so hard on Christmas Day deserves a medal in my eyes. Well done to you all and thank you. We will be back very soon.
Incidentally this used to be my families pub years ago in the 70's when it was The White Horse and still had a lounge and saloon bar so I've visited this pub all my life and it's been interesting seeing how it's changed over the years. My Grandad Tom Glynn was the Landlord xxx
Have been here since it was the white horse my local many years ago went af the weekend with family had some good food friendly polite staff and fellow customers would recommend and will still go when I'm in my mobility scooter which will be a while ?
Fantastic pub, gorgeous food,lots of choice on the main menu and the children's menu. I took my three children for lunch, they had a great time and the staff were great with them �
Had a great meal here the night before a funeral and then the wake the next day, excellent food and friendly staff, highly recommended!
we had a lovely meal and service was spot on WE booked a xmas lunch for a berfore xmas lunch and if the service was as good as yesterday we will not be disapointed highly reccomend it

I’ve had amazing visits here for weekends. Having drinks with friends and the atmosphere and service has been amazing. A big special mention to Teresa who has been fantastic in making The Green Man an amazing place to come to with DJ and Karaoke nights. The staff are brilliant in there service and create an amazing atmosphere.
I recently booked a large group Baby Shower here at the Green Man and we opted for the Afternoon Tea. I absolutely couldn’t recommend enough! We had a reserved private event space, all the tables were set out beautifully with fresh flowers, teas and coffee’s. The food was beyond delicious and the amount of food and portion sizes were extremely generous! Teresa and the team couldn’t do enough for us and made sure the day went perfectly. I would absolutely recommend the Afternoon Tea and it was perfect for a large group! Thanks again for having us we all had a brilliant day!
We visited this on Sunday for a couple of drinks. Encountered a relaxing environment and a warm and efficient welcome staff with great service. Decided to order a "Sunday Roast"; what a delicious meal, fantastic pub and great value. We'll definitely return. Obviously a great team, keep up the good work. I will recommend to my family and friends.
We were staying nearby and wanted somewhere to have a few drinks and watch the rugby World Cup. They put the match on at our request. We had great service all evening and both the staff and other customers were really friendly. Great outdoor area too and clean toilets. We didn’t try the food but everything else was brilliant so I’m sure that would be too.

We stopped here as it was 5 minutes off the M1 and we very pleased we did. The food was lovely, well priced, freshly cooked and not out of a packet. The service was also great, the food came out quickly, waiting time at the bar was not long at all and every member of staff was very friendly and happy to help, even when we had two small children plus two dogs which for some places is their worst nightmare. The only slight negative about the pub was the outside space is obviously very popular with smokers and could do with a bit of a hose down as there was lots of ash about, that said it still gets 5 stars as everything else made up for it.
Good family pub. You can go there and have a nice quite drink without being drowned out by loud music.
It is a nice clean and well presented pub.
The food menu is good and cateres for all age groups.
Enjoyed a lovely Sunday lunch and a chicken and bacon pie. Great value for money delicious food. Lovely outside space. Karen and her team were super 👌 will definitely return
Most of us ordered steak and chips but somehow the two medium rare plates were lost in translation. However, the waiter tried his best. Delicious chips and their apple crumble was amazing.
Great night out with friends. Great food and service. Big thank you to Sofia who was very friendly, service with a smile, super quick service & great customer skills.
All ways liked this place and food. Went Sunday and was told in quite an offhand manner. Not doing food anymore today. Must say it has put me off a bit. Especially as I had diverted off M1 to come. Sorry enough people offering food without that sort of casual rebuff. But an OK place if it suits them to serve you. I will not take that risk

I absolutely adore this pub. Me and my partner had our first date here 5 years ago and we still go back regularly. The environment is always lovely and the garden area is beautiful 😍

Lovely pub, dog friendly inside and out. Food is good value and always tasty. Special mention in this review to Jess(?) for doing birthday writing on a desert platter and making it an even more special evening
We had a 16th birthday celebration meal here for my son, the staff were so lovely and accommodating and the food was delicious and great value for money. We also had a little dog in tow, and this was not a problem at all! Would highly recommend and a special thank you to Threasa and Karen, who were just brilliant as were all the staff, but they really did go over and beyond 😊
Had a fantastic evening meal here on a Monday night! Ordered from the set menu, main and pudding. Very reasonable and there is a 3 course option!
Recently refurbished by the looks of it, fresh and clean, and wonder if there is a new chef as food was better than previous visits!

I had several pints whilst I was at this pub. All of which were served with an ever increasing smile from a lovely lady called Teresa. I half wish she was my mother or maybe even my sugar momma, either of which would be fine with me.

A group of 20 ladies had a summer meal booked for 12.30pm. We all sat in the conservatory and the staff was helpful and welcoming.
