Wow! Just had amazing service here. Popped in on a whim, was greated by all staff there with a "hello" that on its own would have been great but there was more care and attention to follow! I was served by Moss, great guy...he listened to me and could not have anything more for me, a true asset to this wonderful chippy. I will deffo be returning. And once home, the food was well wrapped, hot and exactly what I asked for and plenty of it...quite often rare thing these days. The prices were reasonable in this day and age and top quality to boot. Thank you Moss, your were amazing my friend 😁
This place is the best fish and chip shop in Hemel Hempstead, the fish is always freshly cooked, the portion size is more than adequate and the service is quick too,
I visited my cousin and thts their local chippy no wonder why ppl love their food fresh crispy fish and hand cut chips delicious 😋

It's was about 7.30 on a Friday evening I called for 2 large Haddock and one large chips, The lady that answered the phone was very polite and advised it'll be about 15 minutes.
We got lucky with parking outside and waiting just a couple of minutes.
Once home, we sat down to eat and what a delicious meal it was. I must say the service and food is every bit as delicious as the first time I went there about 7 years ago ( in the shop a few doors down)

Not being from this area I looked up the nearest fish& chip shop and this was it. I ordered large cod, regular chips and mushy peas. Meddie served me and is a very pleasant and easy person to deal with. He’s also very good at his job. I’ve just finished eating what I could and can say that I’ll be going back there for sure. It was a large fish lightly battered with a large portion of tasty chips. The mushy peas came in a separate small container. All delicious and still piping hot 15 minutes later when I got in. What more could you want?
I am a frequent customer because these fish & chips are very special. The fish is very fresh & chips are hand made & delicious. Also the portions are v big!! Have tried many in Hemel & this shop & its fast & friendly staff are easily the best. I phone in order & it will it ready in 10 mins.

The best fish and chips in Hemel Hempstead by far 10/10 highly recommended ! Fish is flaky and white and as you expect but felt like I was eating at the seaside it was that good, chips were perfectly white inside and crispy to eat so 10/10 highly recommended and can’t wait to come again next time thank you staff and everyone for a great local chippy
