Based on the Americano coffee I got it was was of good quality! You can always tell how good a baristas coffee is by trying a black coffee! Very smooth full bodied roast! Overall better then your chain spots. There was selection of cakes and savoury food available also. Always try supporting local

Growing up in Hemel, and going to many cafes over the years, Hive is possibly the most welcoming cafe in Hemel. It’s got gorgeous food with the most loveliest people working there.

My type of coffee shop! Small, intimate, and with friendly smiling staff. Way better than industrial and "conveyor belt" shops 🤣 it has homey feel, rustic/modern decor, plants around, and calm lovely atmosphere. Food and coffee were also great!

Lovely place for brunch, food was tasty, they had a good selection. My wife loved all the house plants on display, the location is very clean and picturesque.

Had breakfast here when staying overnight in town. The "breakfast bap" was quite substantial, tasty and good value. The café was quiet when we arrived, around 9.30 on a Tuesday morning, but soon got busy. Service was good too. Recommended.
