Beautiful Manor House and grounds! I strongly recommend a night here especially if you’re planning a Warner Bros Studio trip. The grounds around the house are well worth exploring they have some beautiful gardens and great for any bird watchers. Breakfast service in the morning hit the spot with a full English. In terms of our room there was a problem with the bath not draining the water out, so we had a half tub of bath water for the night. This wasn’t a problem for a one night stay. The room was a bit cold because of a draft from the window. No complaints for the rest of the room, all towels and toiletries were provided with fast room service and room cleaning. The bed was also huge and lovely.

It's an adorable little hotel. Everyone was super nice. We ordered room service. It took a while for the food to come, but the food was really good. The view out our window was beautiful. We enjoyed walking around the grounds too. It was lovely! I'm taking off one star because the fire alarm went off randomly in the middle of the night for no reason and the bed was super hard, but overall we really enjoyed our stay here!

Decent budget friendly hotel, rooms are ok however some of the furnishings are damaged. Service is good but could be better. I did not like the way they allow wedding guests to block the reception area and door ways makes it very difficult to manoeuvre around them. As you work around the grounds there is one location not far from the entrance where you can see staff smoking and there are around 200 cigarettes on the floor, this was not pleasant to see, however I had a pleasant stay and I would recommend the establishment.

Warm welcome. Good price. Food and service excellent value. Staff very accommodating and friendly. Nothing too much trouble. Comfortable beds, soft towels, plenty of hot water. Refreshing to walk in and see/smell the room had been cleaned, towels changed. As discussed at Reception room needing update regarding decor, but considering the economy, recruitment and pandemic issues, this hotel is bouncing back. A credit to current staff. Would recommend if visiting Harry Potter World.

Visited for a wedding and had the most wonderful time! The location was excellent; secluded but with good local transport links. The room was comfortable and well appointed with a lovely shower! Food and drink was a little pricey but given the location and the experience I'd expect to pay what I did. They had an excellent selection of beer, wind and spirits, and we never waited long to be served.

Came here to see my best friend of 25 years get married. It was such a beautiful day, beautiful views and the staff were all amazing. Friendly staff and polite. The staff all worked so hard to make sure her day went smoothly. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a wedding venue

Beautiful hotel. Unfortunately, our room was in the modern end. But still a lovely room. Evening menu was a little limited, but the food was delicious. Breakfast very good All the staff were friendly and helpful. The location was excellent. 15 mins from Warner Brothers HP 1hour approx from lego land and Windsor Castle. Lots of excellent National Trusts around this area also. We very much enjoyed our three night stay

Shendish Manor 10/10!!! I cannot recommend this hotel enough, I made a call last-minute call on the morning of the 1st of September, I had just gotten news of my engagement ring being delivered. I asked if they could any way support me in a proposal with a Double room on a Romantic Package. The team at Shendish manor pulled all the stops out for me! They reserved a room then allowed me to wait until THE ring had arrived at home. After another call they then helped me with everything even though the hotel was very busy with a wedding and golf groups. They made our whole stay amazing and made me and my now fiancée fell very special. Even driving up to the hotel itself is amazing down a beautiful driveway then met with he picturesque manor house is perfect! On arrival they had notes made by the Reversation teams and allowed me to have a bottle of champagne ready for the big moment! The room was decorated and looked amazing; I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a special night away! The room we were given had amazing views of the gardens which were being set up for weddings which got us both very excited. They helped with the video of the engagement and helped with everything - The staff in the restaurant were amazing and very attentive making us both feel very special, the reception staff were very friendly and attentive too checking everything went well and wanting to see the proposal video before we left. I want to thank everyone on the team at Shendish Manor for making our proposal the most memorable experience! The whole time was so special and went so well we have already booked up to stay again with my brother and his fiancée in October when they have a wedding show.

I can't thank the staff enough. They are kind and professional; nothing was too much trouble. Our event went without a hitch. The food was delicious. The gardens immaculate. The bedrooms were comfortable. I recommend using this venue for your event. You won't be disappointed. Thank you so much to everyone at Shendish Manor.

This was part of the Harry Potter Warner Bros package. My family and I stayed there one night. It was very charming, to be honest. But, it's an old building obviously, so set your expectations. The grounds are truly amazing - large open fields and golf. My kids thoroughly enjoyed this snapshot of the English countryside. We're not UK residents, so it was especially charming for us.

A lovely place to start exploring England, close to the Luton Airport, which makes it a perfect spot for the first night after arrival. Lovely spatious rooms, beautiful garden perfect for a morning walk, after delicious breakfast. The building gives great old English "hello Mr. Darcy" atmosphere!

Lovely golf course, always been fairly quiet when I went. Mix of difficult and easy holes. Only been a few times but the greens seem like they need some work. Quite bumpy and not smooth. But otherwise a great course.

We went there as we had Virgin bundle of Harry Potter and Cavendish tea. Restaurant a bit outdated but lovely Gardens and surroundings with golf course. We've read many bad comments about food but it turned to be SPECTACULAR! Nicely served and super tasty. Kid ordered extra strawberry milkshake and nice staff haven't charge us for it 🍓🍓🍓. Thank you AAA +++ How often are you positively surprised? Highly recommend

We stayed here as part of the Harry Potter Studios holiday break package. It is way out of London, but there are trains to get to the town. You’ll have to catch a cab to the manor though (about 20 euros max) if you don’t want to trek uphill/for 20-25 minutes with luggage. They did just fill the potholes on their private road, but it’s still a little bumpy. They let you drop luggage before your studio visit if you’re early. Check in was easy but unfortunately, the lift was out of service when we visited and our room was quite far from reception so it wasn’t fun to get ourselves there with our luggage. It’s a beautiful property though and we hope to stay longer than one day/night next time to actually enjoy it.
