Really nice Breakfasts here, good quality food, I had a set 1. 2 bacon and 1 sausage, 1 egg and tinned tomatoes and lots of chips with bread and apple juice for £7.80. Also had Lamb Roast dinner for £8.90, loads of Lamb, with Cabbage, Brocolli, Cauliflower, Carrots and peas, roast potatoes are OK, with lashings of gravy, just about ate the dinner just wish the had Yorkshire pudding. Really yummy decent food, and just the right amount, best around Hemel Hempstead, on busy days parking can be difficult, will definitely come back.

I come to windmill over and over again because the food, prices and service are great. My personal favourite is the eggs Benedict with bacon instead of ham and their milkshakes are also amazing. If you don't want to make the trip out, they're also available on Deliveroo, ubereats etc.

Today I ventured back to the café, upon my arrival I remembered the homely feel to the place and smiled a little. I thought I would try something different and decided to order chili con carne with a baked potato. The baked potato came with a side salad so my doctor will be happy 😁. I have to admit the potato was really well cooked, it was soft and creamy and went really well with the chilli. I would highly recommend giving it a try, the salad was also good (yes I ate the salad). Over all a much better experience the. My first. Hats of the the owners and staff.

I love coming here for a catch up breakfast with friends and family. There is a really good range of options so are sure to find something to satisfy you. All food is cooked fresh to order, and isn't a long wait either. Orange juice is fresh and tasty! I try and visit atleast once a month. Staff are friendly and polite.

Visited the café twice for breakfast when staying nearby. It proved to be very popular on the Sunday morning and was quite busy, even at 9.30. The food and drinks were pleasant and good value, service good and staff friendly and helpful. Parking is easy and free as it faces onto the Queen's Square car park. There were a few small tables out front so it is possible to sit outside. Recommended.

Found this gem of a cafe a few years back whilst visiting a friend in Hemel Hempstead. My friend moved shortly after but I still come back just to eat here. Fantastic food. I have tried pretty much everything on the menu and all the dishes are superb. Gets extremely busy which is always a good sign. Would definitely recommend.
