This is a fabulous tea room and the volunteers do an amazing job I was there for lunch with my daughter and my 2 grandchildren and the food was lovely Paul (I think that was his name) one of the volunteers was so hospitable and provided the children with crayons & pages from a colouring book to keep them occupied In fact my grandson who is only 3 thought he looked like Father Christmas Would definitely recommend this place Keep up the good work

My first visit today, taking a Christmas shopping break. Absolutely lovely, this place is totally gorgeous. Decor and atmosphere absolutely spot on. Thank you you the lovely Carol singers that sat with me and had a nice chat! This place couldn't be more perfect, a little bit of heaven in our town. Well done all involved

A lovely tea room, a fabulous atmosphere and staff are very friendly. Excellent food and drinks, Gorgeous cake which my grandchildren love. I have twin grandchildren which can be hard work but the tea room makes them welcome. My four year old, cheered the other day when he saw we were going in, you don't get a better recommendation than that!

What a lovely place, so welcoming and they were actually pleased to see so many babies unlike a lot of coffee shops that get annoyed at groups of mum's crowding the place with prams. Plenty of space and lovely cakes.

This was a lovely calm place to go. My daughter, aged 5, used the loos ...a lot and they were clean. She enjoyed pouring her own squash from a bottle and we loved the décor. We saw people we knew in there and it was a great place for a chat. One lady I spoke to said she found going into cafes alone really difficult but was happily sitting in this Tea room sipping Mary Berry Tea :-) Price was reasonable for the drinks cakes etc we had.

The love and passion that has gone into opening the Liberty Tea Rooms absolutely shines throughout every beautiful detail. See you again very soon

What a beautiful place, we had a lovely time. Straightforward menu which was fab as I had a fussy 10 year old with me so a toastie was perfect. Food was lovely, fancy pants coffee was exactly what was needed and the surroundings were just lovely. Can't wait to come back!

The Liberty Tea rooms should be on everyone’s list of places to go. A great concept, which was explained to us by the owner whilst we were sat browsing the menu. The staff were all incredibly friendly and the food and drinks were really good. We are fortunate enough to be able to leave a little extra when we paid, so hopefully someone who wouldn’t usually be able to treat themselves to a coffee and cake, can now do so on us. Keep up the amazing work and hope to visit a few more times before we go home! The Aussies :)

This a lovely place to go to for chat and cuppa with cakes or light meal. Staff are welcoming abs friendly. We often pop in when we're in Hemel Town Centre. It's a charity run tea room with food and drinks served promptly and the money raised helps people in need. What more is there to say.

Truth be told, had a wonderful lemon scone here at Liberty Tea Rooms. Quirky setting, with rather cramped seating inside, we had to sit outside. Unfortunately, the abundance of sunlight, and accompanying lack of parasol meant for quite an uncomfortable seating experience - to no fault of LTR. The menu was well-presented. Price was left up to the customer, with an honesty envelope and box. All the money went to charity, and it was worth the money we spent. Despite the congestion, we got everything we ordered, and enjoyed everything we got. Service was impeccable, with a lovely doorman, waitress and till operator. Great if you’re ever in Hemel Hempstead, pity if you’re not.
