Had a fantastic birthday here yesterday and would highly recommend, the staff / service was fantastic and they took my nut allergy extremely seriously and made sure I was fully aware of the food which i could / could not have. To top it all off I even got a present at the end which was wrapped along with birthday music and a cake :) All in all, great evening and will definitely be coming back soon. Thanks everyone!
The Food was excellent so was the hospitality from all the Staff who were all polite to our needs & requirements. The Service was quick & very efficient.
If there was any Negatives then charging us £4-00 for the foil containers for the Doggy Bags was a bit below the belt as the food was for the younger generation that couldn't eat it all especially when the bill came to just shy of £340.00.
Better to have them thrown in for a better Review....
Really enjoyed the food here. Very fresh and balanced taste. Also the guys are providing great service, very attentive waiters and nice atmosphere overall. Would definitely come back again.
We went for a lovely birthday meal at the sitar last night. Very friendly staff, brilliant atmosphere and fantastic food. Would recommend definitely, the service and quality is second to none. They even brought out a cake for the birthday lady.
Some very different Indian dishes, great if you are into experimenting with your food! All of our food was excellent, and the service top notch!
Absolutely fantastic! This is a lovely, well furnished restaurant with top drawer food and very friendly staff.
Unpretentious is correct, but it doesn’t mean reduced standards.
We were visiting from Australia and as such not regulars. The gentleman that served us was great, recommended dishes and had a great chat about football.
Then the owner came over to ensure we enjoyed our food.
My only regret was only getting there once.
Had a brilliant meal and enjoyed the evening.

The food is delicious! Staff are friendly and great with recommendations. I had an array of dishes and enjoyed every one of them. I haven't stopped recommending The Sitar to family. Will say that it is definitely worth the drive for me. If you haven't been, be sure to pay them a visit, you won't be disappointed.
We went for an early meal at 5pm. The food was absolutely delicious, probably one of the best curries I have had. The service was excellent and staff were very friendly.
Great restaurants, great location, very good food, fast service. The only reason for 4 out of the 5 stars we found the staff were a bit moody and dry from start to end.

Had a lovely meal here recently with my husband. The food was fresh and flavoursome. The staff were all very attentive. The manager was very friendly and accommodating. The popadoms and naan bread were particularly fresh, the best by far we have had in an Indian restaurant. We found the ambience lovely and the restaurant to high standard of cleanliness. We felt totally relaxed and confident to eat in this place, definitely a little gem of a restaurant. Would give 6 stars if we could, could not fault them on anything. Would definitely go back and recommend. Thank you all at the sitar! 😊
Staying in the area and was recommended I try out this restaurant. Can not rate atmosphete as I had a takeaway. Very friendly staff. Food was excellent 👌. I would recommend this to anyone who likes a good curry.
