Beautiful setting with wonderful staff and a lovely food.
We were created by the front of house, who was smiley and very friendly. It’s always nice to be greeted with a smile.
We were then shown to our table where our waiter offered us water and bread. He was super friendly and chatty also tended to our every need. Really great service.
Warm bread is given which I really like.
We ordered:
The stone bass
Halibut
Cauliflower steak side
Fine beans side
Spring greens side
I had the stone bass and it was perfectly cooked. I came with some spring onions and a red pepper hummus. Really flakey fish, very tasty.
The halibut came with a pesto like spaghetti.
Both mains were enjoyed!
The sides were a little small. And honestly that is my only criticism. They all tasted great. The cauliflower cake with a Parmesan crumb, the fine beans came with a slight butter and greens were in a creamy sauce topped with pine nuts. But they could have and should have been bigger!
A fabulous meal. Will definitely go back.

Fantastic food which is presented beautifully. Have been here twice now, once for dinner and once for afternoon tea. Would highly recommend both. Quality of food and drink here is exceptional. Staff are so warm and welcoming also. The view of the grounds are stunning 😍
I had the burger and wedges beforehand and it was lovely, well flavoured and prepared. Good selection of drinks available as well. Half way around had a toasted cheese and ham sandwich which was equally as nice. Lovely staff and nice atmosphere
This is the Centurion Golf Course in Hemel Hempstead. It's location is perfectly placed just off the M1 . There is plenty of parking and the Bar area and outside seating is very nice and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The scenery at the back of the bar is good with a small lake nearby. There are facilities for small functions or larger ones. Overall, It is a nice venue and the easy transport links make it an ideal place to get to.

Gorgeous salted butter with lovely bread every detail was carefully considered, the flowers, the candles, the outdoor seating area wonderful.

We recently visited the Centurion Club, perfection from start to finish, a beautiful room with lovely music and pleasant atmosphere.
Wonderful service and no pushy waiters.
Food was delicious and very well presented.
Cons, I personally find the starters options are a bit to slim with not to many options for the meat lovers.
I really enjoyed the experience and I will visit them in future.
A bit pricey compare with other restaurants in the area but if would you like something better, I guess you have to pay.
Lovely venue, went for afternoon tea, great selection of sandwiches, cakes and scones with beautiful views over the golf club. Lit beautifully with lights created a wonderful Christmas atmosphere. Service was lovely and welcoming

This restaurant serves excellent food. The staff are friendly, the service is good. However, this is a restaurant on a golf course; expect an older demographic and to feel a little out of place if you are not part of the golf world.
Still, very worth it. Pricey but delicious!
Lovely afternoon tea in the garden room. Valm atmosphere, great service, tasty food and great value. The view over the golf course an added bonus.

Beautiful, challenging members course, probably the best course in Hertfordshire. Relaxed, friendly, great facilities with a large clubhouse overlooking the lake at the 18th featuring an excellent restaurant and to the side a courtyard area with bbq and fire pits. If you get a chance to play or even better join you really should.
I absolutely love it at the Centurion Restaurant. The service is outstanding, the staff are very friendly, the surroundings are picturesque and the food is of great quality.

Superb Galvin Restaurant just near St Albans, wonderful service , lovely wait staff and superb food. Only issue is the lighting and music, I would have preferred more romantic lighting and some smooth Jazz.
This was the second time i visited this club. Weather was wonderful and beautiful. The club was well managed. Club house was contemporary & staffs were friendly. They cleaned up our golf clubs one by one after we finished the game. :) fairway conditions was good. The course is more challenging than it looks.
I came here for afternoon tea with my boyfriend and had such a lovely time. The staff were attentive and ensured that the afternoon was made special as it was my birthday. They were also able to cater for our dietary requirements without any issues (vegetarian and nut allergy). The food was delicious: the selection of sandwiches was inventive and the scones were freshly baked and still warm when they arrived. As a vegetarian, it was lovely being able to go out for an afternoon tea with an excellent array of sandwiches, scones and sweet treats. Will be recommending to all friends and family.

The food was superb.
The ambiance was exceptional.
The service from Charlie was exemplary.
We shall definitely be returning!
