I stayed in a campsite not too far from you guys about a fortnight ago with a friend and we stopped in every night either for food or evening drinks. The food was great and I couldn't clear my plate because the portion was so generous. The staff were amazing, super friendly and welcoming. Great selection of ciders too. The Thatchers Haze went down a bit too easily though . If you ask really nicely they'll fill you a hot water bottle to take back to the campsite with you. I will DEFINITELY be back. Next time though, let me peel them spuds, yeah? You guys are ace! Much love to you both xxx

Thursday 9th November. Quite frankly I haven't shut up yet about my delicious steak! My guests thoroughly enjoyed their food, but "oh my word! My steak!" I can honestly say that it was the best steak I have ever eaten in my life. I truly can't wait for my next one!

Visited often when staying at Tremorvu campsite. Friendly welcome from host and locals. Unfortunately didn't eat there this year but menu making the most of local produce, really good 'proper' pub x

Had a good couple of evenings here. A good locals pub with a friendly character. Slightly limited real ale choice as one barrel was down, unlucky cowboy. The chef had a colourful outfit, take sunglasses!! Menu on line. Nice to see a pub with a proper pub sign.

Stopped off on our way back from St Michael's Mount. A warm welcome and instantly felt comfortable. Food was delicious. My husband had the steak and it was cooked to perfection. Kids well catered for and a good sized menu offering options for all tastes and appetites. Thank you for a Great ending to our day and we will definitely return if we are in the area.

Came here for the first time (24/8/2023) with my family of 4 adults and 2 children. At the rear there is a free car park. A lovely oldy worldly pub with a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere from the staff and management. The food being home cooked, very tasty and good sized portions and we would very highly recommend this place to visit. We came here from Manchester and Hertfordshire.. Thank you all at the Lion and Lamb and hope to visit you again.😊👏👍💐

Had a family meal at this pub to end our holiday in Helston and to celebrate my daughter's birthday. Staff are very welcoming and let us bring a small birthday cake for her...they even put a candle! Will be back when we get the chance to come back to Helston!

We were lucky enough to book a table for a Sunday roast and it didn't disappoint, it was home cooked and very tasty, we had the turkey & beef full roast, we will definitely be back soon, we sat next to the most adorable couple who lived locally, really made us feel part of the community, we highly recommend this place but would recommend booking to avoid disappointment 👍 the staff made us feel so welcome too and very friendly, so good to come across a well run pub with an outstanding clean well maintained in all areas.

Warm welcome when we arrived and chatted with us and our dogs 😁 The food was absolutly gorgeous and we all enjoyed our meals, even the dogs had there own menu, we couldnt resist in getting them some sausages and chicken nuggets. They arrived in their own bowls which the dogs loved. Definitely recommend this pub 👍

Food is Pub grub with slight variation here and there but good value, well presented and good quality. Sea bass casulet is a stand out. Needs a serve of bread with it; or am I being too continental? Doom Bar and Atlantic Pale on handpumps - kept very well. Cruz Campo/ Carlsberg/Pravha lagers, Orchard Thieves cider and a Craft beer- Mangolicious. Bottled beers, ciders and lagers. Music evenings in summer. Outside seating front and back. Large carpark. Best to book for food in summer season as it can get crowded. Bus stop just outside U4 Penzance to Falmouth.

We had Lion & Lamb pale ale, a couple of steaks with a glass of Malbec each. The steaks were a good size and came out exactly as we’d ordered.
