Halzephron Inn - Helston - Photo album

Fantastic food and service. Really traditional inn with a great family feel. The staff were polite and attentive. The food was excellent. Loads of gluten free options too including the chowder with a gluten free roll. Chowder was amazing and the mains were equally excellent
Such incredible food and atmosphere. Staff were all really lovely and attentive. The chowder was the stand out dish for us, but everything was delicious.
We had a fantastic meal here. They accommodated us 6-7;30 at the last minute. My wife and I had Baked Hake and Megrim Sole off the specials. The kids had a great choice. Portions fantastic. Cooked fresh. Hardly a wait despite being busy. Desserts also superb. Only gripe no Cornish Yarg!! The ladies
Bit of a drive but absolutely worth it for the great food selection and amazing view. Very dog friendly inside and out and plenty of parking. Such a peaceful place. Food is perfect for a quick bite or a lavish Sunday roast - highly recommended
Our group had an amazing meal here on the first night of our trip. I had the pie, chips, and peas, and was not disappointed. The food was piping hot and plated with care for all of us. Others in our group had the burger, fish pie, and chowder and were equally impressed. If you can fit anymore in, go
We didn't eat here, but we often pop in for a cider on our way back from Church Cove. Beautiful view over "Hell's Cliffs' which is where the pub gets its name. Legends of smuggling and shipwrecks all around here.
Sticky tables. Glasses looked like they never had a wash. Food was just ok in our case. But if you manage to grab a table in front by the road it has lovely view
Lovely cosy pub with views looking over the sea. Good range of beers and spirits. Very friendly and welcoming staff and a large menu with GF, veg and vegan options. Worth more than 5 stars
My Wife and myself have been over the years many times eating out at the Halzephrone Inn. The food and meals are delicious. It's every time a tasty experience eating out at this great Pub! Booking table's are advised!!
Great old pub - watch out for the low beams in the restaurant. I'm 5ft5inch and only just made it underneath without ducking. Is located near a beautiful bay with a cute church. Food was good and portions are a good size.
Camping locally so stopped off after a walk with our dog. Was very welcoming pub, very dog friendly Only popped in for a drink stayed for couple hours, really friendly people. Food looked amazing so will definitely be coming back for a meal. Never seen so much food on a plate amazing value.
Fantastic old Inn on the Lizard serving great food, beers, cider and a good selection of rums. Warm welcome to an ancient establishment which has been there since the 15th century!
Dined here following recommendation from locals, lovely old property with fabulous views of nearby beach, food is reasonably priced and of exceptional quality, don't miss out, best to reserve a table.
