Insanely good Mince Pies at this bakery. Discovered it after parking in the town to visit the castle and walking past it. Would drive hours to get mince pies from this bakery, they’re that good!

Amazing little bakery with a large variety of interesting treats from honey and biscuits to cake and pasties! And the treat I chose was the Jam pasty for 98p, a great value treat! Would recommend.

Discovered this little bakery down a side street and was really impressed. Great choice of all fresh, home made cakes and breads at very reasonable prices. The cheese scones in particular were incredible.

Stopped off for cuppa and cake, fantastic little shop, great food and amazing prices. Was so good we went back later for a couple of steak pies. They were also excellent. Will definitely go here again when we next visit.

My husband and I are American and stopped in Helmsley on our way to York on our UK vacation. We literally followed our noses to this little shop because it smelled SO good! Easily the best bread I have ever had. Beautiful little patio where you can relax and look at the castle.

Lovely freshly made to order sandwiches-can recommend either the ham or cheese and onion ! Cakes are superb as are the prices . Worth seeking out if that what your after -service was excellent too .

Excellent traditional baking, amazing curd tart, traditional and not changed to suit modern tastes! Bring back traditional home style baking! Will become a must place to visit.
