Had an excellent stay here. Perfectly located. Staff really pleasant and helpful. Superb breakfast. Had a couple of evening meals too which were good, especially the steak pies.

We called in on a Friday afternoon and it was just busy enough for me. The barman was friendly and the beer was good. There was racing on the telly but not too loud. I would recommend this pub for atmosphere and service. Didnât eat so canât comment on the food. Nice locals pub and I would call again
