I called in at about 6.45pm one evening on my way from Lancaster to Leeds.
The place is spotless and my order was cooked whilst I waited. I had the medium fish & chips for just £4.50!
Really decent fish and chips at great value. Just what I wanted!

Superb fish and chips and great value too. I had the medium f&c and it was just enough for me. The chips are the best I've tasted for yonks !! They tasted just like ones I used to love years ago - I'm sure they must have been cooked in beef dripping 'cos they tasted so good.
Brilliant fish & chips. Always call when passing if they are open. Always cooked fresh for you, never had and any horrid warm ups 🤢. Clean shop, pleasant staff, highly reccomend. Worthy of 5⭐
Tucked away on a side road right next to a pelican crossing is a small but great fish and chip shop. It is cash only but if plastic is all you have, you can pay by card at the sister off license on the main road. Regular and large fish available, regular was quite enough for lunch though. Friendly
Popped in on way through as we were passing and needed food. Had fish & chips, battered sausage, scampi, mushy peas, curry sauce. All very tasty and service was safe and friendly. Worth a visit.
We are so glad my father and I stopped here for their fish and chips. We arrived just 4 mins before their restaurant closed. But that was no problem to these delightful people. Really well presented and very enjoyable meal. Thank you both, once again.
