First time visiting after many recommendations and it really didn’t disappoint! Lasagna along with garlic bread and chips to share it was such a lovely meal! Atmosphere was great and the team are so friendly. Definitely recommend!
A friendly greeting. This is a busy but cosy restaurant that brings the outside inside with its decor. The food is well presented & tastes delicious. Salt & pepper grinders are on the table, but i found that my food was perfect without any extra seasoning. Garlic mushrooms, garlic bread, salmon tagliatelle & calzone. All portions are very generous. All are full of flavour. My wife & i agree that this is the best italian food we've ever eaten.
Fantastic service and good quality food from the take away part . We ordered 3 bags of chips and they sent 2. Called them and spoke to a lovely person who got it rectified straight away. delivery driver back here again in no time at all with another bag of chips and 2 cans of drink . thank you so much.
All staff very polite the person who I spoke to on the phone and delivery driver and food top quality too !!!!!

The food is good, I've only eaten mid week a couple of times so it's quiet and hard to comment on the atmosphere but the service is always sharp.

We visited Kolize after seeing it on a visit to Hedon. We were celebrating a very decent grade in my daughter's Master's assignment. The restaurant is quaint and has a lovely décor and atmosphere. We had soup, which was like a meal in itself, bruschetta which was divine and various mains, and Princess Pudding and my 'sweet' boyfriend managed some chocolate fudge cake. I have eaten in several good Italian restaurants in Hull and many around the country, but the food here was just sublime, beautifully presented, high quality and fresh, expertly cooked and simply delicious. We will definately be back; with or without the next very decent grade :). Thank you so much to the chef and the staff, for a truly fantastic meal and a great evening.
Omg the best experience ever. Traditional Italian food cooked by real Italian chef, served by Italian waiter. I felt like I was in Italy.

First time ordering and will definitely be ordering again. First class pizza and the chicken gyros box meal was amazing with plenty of chicken. Next time I’ll request a menu to be sent so I can see a the delights they have to offer. Would definitely recommend from our experience.
Ordered food to take away and then when I produced my card to pay was informed it was cash only. It would have been good to know first as I entered the shop maybe!
After a quick visit to the cash point a few yards up the road, we returned to place our order again. It arrived, freshly cooked and well packaged, in 15 mins and was well worth the mess about. At least I know for future reference, cash only!

Chicken Alfredo was lovely. It's a spacious restaurant, nothing worse than feeling hemmed in for the sake of more bums on seats. Will be back.

We booked online but they didn’t get it so we had to wait as they were shut till 1215pm. Food was nice but not amazing and service was ok.
Visited this lovely restaurant with my best friend. The food, service, and ambience were all excellent. Both the food and drinks menus were much to our liking. At all times, we felt very welcome and will definitely be returning in the future.
