Had a great family evening celebrating my son's 18th birthday. Service was quick and polite, all the meals we're well cooked. we asked the staff serve my son a pot noodle (we'd brought with us) as a joke as he eats loads of them. Staff played along, putting hot water in and serving to him with a spoon, it was brilliant and my son thoroughly enjoyed, ate the pot noodle along with his meal. Many thanks to all the staff.
Why do some people think that bar staff are there to be berated. We are sat here myself and the kids listening to a group of men being awful to the bar staff .
Rude and obnoxious behaviour in a family pub, luckily they left when asked to !!
The staff work very hard and are a credit to the pub.

Two beef and ale pies with mash with a small portion of pea’s, plus an order of double chicken and beef Berger stack, very large meal. All food tasted great and served in good time. And two drinks from the bar £32 for three of us not bad a.
Pub was very busy but had a good atmosphere. They have a huge choice of food which is good value. Staff were polite and service was spot on.
Best food I've had since I ate an entire Buffalo pre covid restrictions, great prices too and staff bent over backwards to accommodate our large group of 10, despite us only booking for 6 places in advance.
Proper locals pub, lots of nice people having a well deserved drink at the end of the week. The adult beer garden could do with a sweep and a tidy would be my only “criticism” but the place makes up for it with atmosphere the locals and the service, next time I’m visiting friends there I’ll drop in again before catching a train
Lovely pub with brilliant staff and fantastic management. Could not have made us feel more welcome. Go there, enjoy yourself and enjoy a lovely local pub.
I came in on a Tuesday night for my friends birthday and was absolutely astounded by the service of Amy and Paul. They went above and beyond for me and my group and made my experience extremely pleasurable. Thank you for making my visit extra special, I will be back!
Perfectly fine pub. Food is nothing special, it's pub food. Still higher quality than the regular Weatherspoons food. Server's were very pleasant and polite. Pleasant local, family-friendly pub

If you've visited Hungry Horse you know what to expect. The staff are friendly and the food comes out fast. It's a bit tired, but clean. If there was one criticism it would be they are often out of certain menu items when we visit and it always seems to be at least one thing we've chosen.
It is a place we choose to go though sometimes with and sometimes without Tesco Clubcard vouchers, so we do recommend it if you're looking for a decent Hungry Horse pub.
If Your looking for good food and a cheap place to eat with well cooked food then this is the place for you .
The service was first class .
