I've had many tattoos done by Mel as have my family. Her work is beautiful and we always enjoy going to see her, Emily and the team and catching up while we have new work done.
Mel always spends time making sure everything is exactly as we want it before starting, and always makes sure we are comfortable and relaxed.
This would be a great environment for a first tattoo as Mel would make sure everything was friendly, easy and relaxed.
I cannot recommend Sacred Sparrow Studios, and Mel, highly enough! My second piece done by Mel was something I'd been planning and talking about for years but somehow she still managed to exceed my wildest expectations! A marathon 5 hours flew by and, in what felt like half the time, Mel crafted a completely bespoke and super detailed piece! As relatively pain-free an experience as tattooing could ever be, the studio has a great atmosphere and the whole team make you feel completely welcome and at ease from the moment you arrive. Both pieces I have had done have been completely designed from scratch incorporating my ideas and the expertise and craft of such a gifted artist. Both times I couldn’t have been happier with the results! I certainly shan't be going anywhere else anytime soon!!!
I’ve been to Mel for my last 4 tattoos. not only is she a wonderful human being who instantly puts you at ease and happily chats with you, making time fly by, she’s an incredible artist who has produced some beautiful tattoos on my body. Her custom designs give you everything that you want and more, with great attention to detail. You’re always made to feel comfortable and relaxed and the time flies by in a blink.

Was lucky enough to get into the studio before the official opening and instantly felt comfortable in the space and very comfortable with Mortimer, who is a beautiful and talented soul. The tattoo couldn't have gone better and looked even more beautiful than it did in my dreams. Really I couldn't recommend this place enough there is nowhere I would rather go. Iv been going to Mel now for a few years and would follow her any where. She if a fantastic artist and tattooist she really cares about all her art work and makes sure the client is always happy. Can’t wait to get in for more work!!
