I turned up, only to find I had accidentally booked the wrong month, luckily Minnie was fantastic, and managed to find us a room.
The room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated, with everything you would need.
We also stayed for dinner, and was not disappointed, the food was very tasty and
We just visited the pub for lunch and it was excellent. The food was delicious - I highly recommend the artichoke starter and the toasted emmental and ale sandwich. The kids enjoyed their meals, and the dog even got fed as there is a doggie menu. The waitress was lovely and made us feel very welcome
Just back from a great weekend in the Calder Valley. The owner of the excellent Hope Gallery around the corner recommended this place for Saturday night dinner. My companion and I both had the saddle of lamb, which was superb, I’d go so far as to say Michelin quality, perfectly cooked with a lovage
Nice food gud prices, friendly staff, didn't wait long for food or drinks, table service great. Only problem when arrived staff asked if we wanted food which was made for another table that left thevpub due to unknown reasons, so felt like waitress was rude and tried Forse meals than waste them , this
I've stayed with the pub on a few occasions, rooms are fantastic. They cater for gluten free both in the main menu & the breakfast one.The customer service from the staff is superb, I would definitely recommend. The hotel is great base for exploring the surrounding area
The food was a little disappointing. The meat and potato pie and the three cheese, potato and leek pie were a little dry ( not enough gravy). The service was too slow for us. Previous visits here have been excellent.
Went here for a meal with my wife. I had the featherblade beef and my wife had the partridge. I cant praise the food enough it was absolutely gorgeous. The beef melted in the mouth and the partridge (Yes I stole some) was beautiful. Service was fantastic and the pricing was adequate to the food you
Great food in an historic and atmospheric old pub right at the heart of beautiful Hebden Bridge.
Highly recommend the black pudding scotch eggs
Only dropped in for a beer and coffee after a long walk but the staff were pleasant and accommodating. The food looked great also...
A very busy place on a Saturday so would recommend booking a table in advance. Some areas are more cosy than others (with a fireplace). Food was very good. I had the best veggie burger ever!
Food and service were excellent good selection of drinks. very busy would definitely recommend. But would advise booking to avoid disappointment.
Great selection of ales and beers, lovely atmosphere on a drizzly Yorkshire day, and dog friendly too! Will definitely be coming back when in Hebden Bridge!
Popped into this lovely pub during my trip to Hebden Bridge, very welcoming and cosy little place. The service was quick and especially the young man who served me was so lovely. I got the steak burger, and the chips were the best I’ve ever had. I really enjoyed my meal, I’d definitely return. Reall
