It's a great place. This Cosmo is not as big as the others I've been in but there is everything you need to try different types of food. The inside is looking very nice and tidy. The food is great in taste. The only thing I would suggest is to concentrate a bit more on cleaning the toilets. In general they were ok but the floor in the ladies toilet was sticky. But that's all- everything else was great.

This is the first time I visited a buffet restaurant since 3 years ago. It was really great. I was amaze that the que started 10 minutes before the opening so I was already excited. The different variety of foods being served were all excellent for me ( well except for the spicy one because I am allergic to spicy 🫢) I didn’t have the space for the dessert 🤣. It was really worth it. The price is acceptable 👏👏👏
Hoping to come back in the next celebrations ☺️☺️☺️
An all-you-can-eat with large varieties from seafood, chinese, pizza, tepanyaki, indian, desserts with bottomless drink for extra £3.60 per person. Well, the food is not at the top of the world but still good for the price as you get the varieties and get to pick your own food and amount. Atmosphere is nice. Service is good. Time limit is there for around one hour then you need to return the table. Location is great just next to China town.
*Recommended to prebook your tables in advanced*
We went on a Friday evening and it costed £18.99 per person and £3.90 for bottomless drinks. Overall we had a great experience here, it’s good value for what you get with loads of choice on the food and cuisine. Desert was also very nice. Lots of seating available, a little cramped but it was nice to see how full it was when we entered. A little bit on the pricey side but it’s a nice treat for every now and then.
Staff were friendly, fast and efficient and there was always lots of food available, worth giving them a try for sure
It’s been few months since Little Cosmo opened but I can still people lining up every evening to have an amazing buffet experience. I have been here twice and the menu is not the same (which is a good thing ☺️)
I would advise to book early and bring NHS ID for discounts 😉
Staff and food is amazing 10/10 🤩
Opening night for Cosmo Newcastle. Great food and wide variety of food. Love the Cantonese food! The Lychee Jelly was lovely too. Clean place. Just a reminder that they take the money before you start.
Beautiful lots of choice of foods beautiful desserts well worth the money you stay for 1 hr 30 mins for £18.95 eat as much as you like definitely recommend
We wanted something special for my friend's birthday. The restaurant has friendly ambience. The food is great and plenty of options. Very delicious and tasty. Best of all, the staff Named Sal outstand from the staff. She is very friendly and attentive to the needs of the costumers. I will highly recommend this restaurant. Best all you can eat in the North East. Make sure to have reservation as always busy.
3rd to 4th Visit to this restaurant now. Was relatively quiet for the time we arrived to eat. There was only 2-3 occupied tables at the time but did fill up a bit as time went on. Decently priced.
The food looked quite fresh with a decent selection of Indian Curry, Chinese Food, Some Grill Food, Americanised Food, Pizza, and Sushi. The Sushi was acceptable even though the pieces looked a bit flimsy and sometimes falling apart.
The dessert selection was nice, plenty of cakes, fruits and jelly. Pull down Mr Whippy Ice Cream was the best.
Overall happy with the meal and would visit again
My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at COSMO restaurant in Newcastle on the evening of October 19th, and we felt it would be fitting to share our experience with you. Our overall visit was enjoyable, with a few suggestions for improvement.
Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly at the reception and escorted to our reserved seats. Despite having visited COSMO before, the staff kindly took the time to explain the buffet setup, which we appreciated. We paid before diving into the buffet, and the waiter graciously applied my NHS discount of 10%. The buffet at COSMO truly stands out, offering an impressive variety of cuisines, including Indian, Chinese, Japanese, seafood, and Italian. One highlight was the fresh steak bar, where they cook the steak to your preference. The dessert selection was equally delightful, featuring a chocolate fountain that paired beautifully with ice cream and marshmallows. The tiramisu, velvet cakes, and other confections were well above average, with some being particularly excellent.
However, we would like to offer some constructive suggestions. While the food selection was extensive and diverse, it would greatly enhance the dining experience if more sauce options were made available. Items like mayonnaise, hot sauce, mint, and pickles could complement certain dishes and alleviate any dryness concerns we encountered.
Another area where improvement is needed is in the promptness of plate clearance. On this particular visit, there were a few birthday celebrations, and the staff was understandably busy with cake presentations and singing. However, we noticed a delay in clearing our used plates. In our previous visits, this was never an issue, as the staff was typically quick to remove empty plates. We kindly recommend ensuring consistent attentiveness in this regard.
Lastly, we suggest more considerate timing when it comes to cleaning and disinfecting the restaurant. On this occasion, at 9 PM, while we were still dining, the staff began cleaning and spraying disinfectants, making for an uncomfortable dining experience. Waiting until all diners have finished their meals before cleaning would be more courteous and respectful of the dining experience.
In conclusion, COSMO boasts an exceptional buffet experience, ranking as one of the best in Newcastle. With the implementation of the suggested improvements, such as expanding sauce options, consistent plate clearance, and more considerate cleaning practices, COSMO could easily elevate itself to being one of the finest buffet restaurants in Newcastle. As of now, it holds the position of our second favorite, just behind Anessa's Buffet in Quayside. We hope that these recommendations are taken as constructive feedback and look forward to our future visits at COSMO.
From entering service was very good, it's pay before you eat which was handy as means we could leave without any fuss. One of our drinks were forgotten but this was fixed straight away with no fuss.
Food was good. Some things better than others, the salmon sushi was good, Ribs were delicious, really enjoyed the cumin lamb curry and desserts were fantastic which are hard to come by in a buffet.
Some things that could be improved is the lack of spicy options, seems like food was dulled down from their true flavour. Prawn crackers were empty for the full 1 hour 30 minutes we were there, soup was empty until the end.
It was overall enjoyable for a buffet but could have excelled in certain points.
I would happily visit again and would take my friends and family.
