We both absolutely loved the whole night! 8 Courses, for tasting menu, we finished everything. Perfect sizes of food portions. Small cosy restaurant where everyone is fed together.
The Chefs did a fantastic job of presenting the food, all courses were delicious, and served hot. The table staff were pleasant, friendly and polite. Wrong drink brought, but quickly swapped for the one I asked for, when highlighted.
The monkfish and pork were my favourites on the night, while the other half loved the sea trout and the "egg" dessert.
Toilets were ample big enough, well done out and clean. Posh hand soap and lotion for the ladies š
Advise booking well in advance for a table if it's a special occasion.
The only complaint we had were staffs bottoms in our faces when they were waiting on the tables next to us so they could maybe lose the middle table in the window, but apart from that, we know which table to avoid when we return again when baked alaska is next on the menu.
We went for the lunch tasting menu while visiting from the USA It was tasty and very reasonably priced! The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The only criticism I would give was a lot of the dishes had a similar texture.

Very good value for money for a tasting menu! We had a nice Saturday dinner here with attentive, friendly service and tasty, inventive dishes. They got the decor and ambiance just right, itās cosy but modern and feels very inviting.
The 8 course tasting menu was extremely generous, maybe too much, we were absolutely stuffed to the brim by the end of the meal. The bass took the top spot for us, it was cooked to perfection and paired perfectly with a vegetable hash and cauliflower purƩe. But not everything hit the mark. The lamb keema was over seasoned for me with a taste of clove overpowering everything else.
The dishes all come out all at the same time which we werenāt expecting. It takes a bit away from the individual service experience and we didnāt have the dishes explained in detail like weāve at other restaurants with tasting menus.
Overall, the food was really tasty and lived up to the reviews and long-lead time for booking a table. Iād recommend it but come with a big appetite!

Super tasty and some of the best service I've had in years. Many places could learn from the service here.
Tap water without asking. On the ball with clearing, delivering, asking if everything's ok/if we want owt. Bringing sauces with them to ask if we want sauces rather than disappear after asking to get them and possibly never return.
Not having to wait for the bill.

Without any shadow of a doubt the best night we have had in a long time. The dining experience and ambience was wonderfully intimate yet friendly and you got the feeling that everyone was united in this cocoon of magnificence, sharing the culinary delights and soaking up the atmosphere. This was compounded by the hospitality from Jack Brown and his front of house staff which was second to none! Knowledgeable and passionate about the menu and nothing was a problem, you cannot feel this at home unless your in your own living room!
The food was remarkable, with every component doing exactly what it should on a fine dining menu. Notes of smoked garlic and subtle use of truffle where necessary and perfectly cooked proteins, the fish literally glistening and the venison being so tender it melts in your mouth.
I cannt even attempt to put into words how perfect this tasting menu was, and paired with the wine was more of a journey through Italy through all the seasons as the night rolled on.
I feel extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to dine here, extremely fortunate indeed but mark my words this is a must place to visit in 2022. Utterly wonderful.

We have just spent what can only be described as a perfect evening celebrating our 32nd wedding anniversary at Nest. The food was as you would expect with a 5 month waiting list for a table nothing short of superb. To chose a favourite dish would be like trying to choose a favourite child - just impossible, every one was loved equally.
The service from Josh & Tom was seamless but most importantly informative and very friendly.
Booked again for November now for the wifeās birthday and it canāt come soon enough. Thank you to all the team at Nest.
Our first visit here and it won't be our last. Food was outstanding. Service was a bit mixed with the waiter serving between tables and very close to knocking stuff over on our table. Waitress didn't seem to have this problem.
Just home after experiencing the best meal we have ever had. Last year we had the ten course tasting menu at the Shaun Rankin Restaurant at Grantley Hall. The Nest experience was far superior in every way and very good value for money. A beautiful meal in relaxed surroundings and excellent service from friendly and very knowledgeable staff.
Thereās a waiting list for Sunday lunch - and itās obvious why you have to book so far in advance. Great food, pork was superb (and the cracking was spot on š·).

Perfection. The environment, the staff, the food - superlative. I have never enjoyed such different, creative and delicious food. Wonderful vegetarian lunch. Staff, from chef through to all the others were immaculate. If you gat an opportunity - take it - for an experience you will find hard to match
