A wonderful surprise! Magnificent food, lovely ambiance.. great decor, great music in the background. Can thoroughly recommend.. our three course Sunday lunch for two (with two glasses Rose each - would probably been cheaper to have bought a bottle) cost £40 each. We considered this to be great value. Lovely.
Some of the best food I've had all year, so very tasty and fantastic value for the quality. Braised beef with horseradish mash was devine. It's a hidden gem and deserves a visit. You will not get a better meal anywhere near heathfield.
Superb hospitality and food that made us feel like we were eating in a high end restaurant. We feel lucky to have a place like this on our doorstep :)

We went to Heathes for my parents 50th Wedding anniversary. There were 14 of us. The service and food was fantastic. The outside of the premises does not do justice to the quality of food inside and the lovely staff. So pleased that they could cater so well for us all. Many thanks and highly recommended.
Went in for dinner last week, it was lovely. Very friendly, helpful and attentive staff. The menu had a good variety and the food was delicious. Very nice atmosphere for a relaxed meal!
Love to visit Heathes when visiting friends in Heathfield. Would definitely recommend this place. Also if your looking for something a little extra special.

Had a great evening. Food was very good. I had the best linguini I have had in ages. The men's steaks we're excellent, not so keen on the chips. Need to know how to pour a good Irish coffee. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to going back again.
There is a shortage of good restaurants in the Heathfield, but this one has filled that spot. Do not be put off by the unattractive outside as the inside is the total opposite. The restaurant's owners have created a welcoming ambience. We were greeted by a smiling young lady who made us feel very welcome. The menu had an excellent choice and we enjoyed our chosen meals and wines. We will be returning.
I never expected to find a gem like this in Sussex, not alone in Heatfield. The service was impeccable...absolutely nothing was too much for them. The manager/owner was beyond professional and so very friendly. The food was beautiful also. I highly recommended this restaurant. I genuinely felt I was in Turkey or Greece ( the Sun was out and it was very hot!) Thank you so much for such a lovely experience, from your new Irish friend! 5.9.21
Just moved into the village and been trying the various eateries and very pleased to have found Heathes. Popped in for dinner one evening and was very impressed with the food and the service. Went back again the next week for their Sunday lunch which was equally as good and thoroughly recommend. I too would suggest the mini vacuum be put back in it's box until after we have left, a wee bit irritating.

Very friendly, lovely good quality prepared food. A really nice change from the same old pub grub. I had actually forgotten what it is like to eat in a quality restaurant until my visit to Heathes. Could not have been better and the food superb! Ten out of ten!
