Lovely country pub, very welcoming and friendly. I will come back for food.
Driven by many times without a second glance.
Seen them advertise tapas and thought I'd give it a go.
Ordered 9 plates between 2 of us. We couldn't finish it all, which is unlike me.
The tapas was amazing, really good. Well be back to try some more.
we have eaten here a few times now and have never been disappointed. Always a warm welcome and friendly service.
Our grandson loves it here as the landlord always manages to find him an ice cream {which isn't on the menu}
Icing on the cake is the views from the rear beer garden, fantastic

Saturday night Tapas. A great feed with very friendly service. Couldn’t fault it.
Superb food - honestly the best you will find, in any establishment, for miles around. Good selection of beer and the friendliest staff. Always a pleasure to visit and the views and decor are just perfect.
Four of us went for Tapas about a week ago. Fabulous. One of us can not eat shell fish. There was plenty of options not including shell fish so plenty for all. Well presented and we all had a thoroughly lovely evening. Great atmosphere, landlord and staff. Very friendly.
A nice friendly pub with a good atmosphere. We enjoyed a lovely meal here and the food and service was excellent. Will definately be visiting here again.
This is a lovely little pub tucked away at the back of Heathfield. It's a very cosy pub with a very English courtyard pub vibe. Their food is fantastic however the best part about it is the views of the south down from there garden, absolutely perfect on a warm day! Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing, delicious food, really friendly staff and a lovely surroundings.
Great selection of draft beers and wine is also good. Friendly staff and a sheltered outside too, can't wait for summer
Food was wonderful, service very good , very good selection of ales, wine and lagers. Menu was varied and interesting. Well done landlord!! Excellent value, very reasonable prices. I WILL be back!!

Just popped in for food and it was really tasty and the food came out in good time. The Peri Peri chicken was amazing as was my wife's asspargus, ham and halumi salad. Highly recommend stopping here.
This place has also good WiFi, so together with their nice cider one can work chillfuly for a while. They don't have a real coffee machine though.
Fantastic beer garden and views
Took our children here for tea tonight. Staff friendly and helpful. Good food and lovely and fresh. 4 clean plates.
