The atmosphere was warm and welcoming and the bar was buzzing on Friday evening. We enjoyed a delicious meal ( always a tasty vegetarian choice) and felt very relaxed and looked after by the friendly staff, led by Sue and Mike Chapell. A really lovely evening.

Great building, oozing character with a friendly welcome. Well tended garden with hand made garden furniture. Ploughman's was excellent with home cooked ham, chutney ane sourdough bread.
Stumbled on this pub looking for a relaxing evening coffee with a bit of atmosphere. It didn't disappoint, the staff were very friendly and I was welcomed into the locals banter. I'll be back!
