The Yew Tree Inn - Heath Charnock - Photo album

A lovely country pub set in beautiful countryside with plenty of parking. The food was OK my friends enjoyed their fish and chips and burger but I was disappointed with the vegan macaroni. In fact there was only one vegetable main course dish on menu so I asked and they produced a separate veg
Only one cask ale on today but it’s a cracker brewed locally. Situated in a great location with beer gardens to the front and the side where you can take in the fabulous views. Handy starting / finishing point if you want to walk to the reservoirs.
Popped in for a quick drink and ended up having a little snack. The service and staff were 10/10. The place was beautiful and very comfortable and cosy. Will definitely be back to try the main menu as the king prawns and hummus was delicious.
Food was great, presentation was on point and the beef rump cooked perfectly
Love this place! Great setting, service and food. It was a quiet Thursday night but the food was exceptional. I had the Ox cheek with stilton mash and beetroot, which was one of the best meals I have had recently. All felt very safe and very clean, with automatic hand sanitiser on entry and staff wo
Great location in beautiful countryside. Fantastic beer !!! I didn't eat there today, but I have here eaten many times before and the food is always excellent . Highly recommended.
Lovely setting and venue but please serve full fat coke... when we were there I heard 2 other people ask for it too. People are happy to pay the extra sugar tax as a treat, and if its in a bottle that's good too.
Nice venue, good all year round with nice seating outside and cosy fires in winter! Food is nice, fish and chips had salt preloaded, which is not to my taste, but overall the food was good and the staff are really nice. Definitely recommend and will be going back in the future.
Absolutely a gastronomic delight!! All food so fresh...delicious and excellent service Called in on a very rainy day to enjoy chicken pakoras..honey chipolatas Then (better than my mums!!..) corn beef hash with rump stk and celeriac puree..Divine!! Peach n raspberry pavlova... P nut butter creme bru
Lovely quaint country pub set in the quiet countryside. Plenty of outdoor seating overlooking fields. Only one problem, hence 4 stars instead of 5 and thats the lack of vegetarian choice on the menu. Only 1 starter and 1 main course.
Cosy on the inside, great views on the outside & a tasteful seating area in the sunshine. Staff were attentive, food was both good & quick & the beer was cold. Not really much more you could ask for.
Superb sunday roast. Chicken and topside of beef both cooked to perfection. Quality home cooked food, beautifully presented and to a standard superior to most pub food. Carrot and ginger soup starter was exquisite. Well done to the chef and team.
We are here recently one evening and had some really nice food. The menu's a step up from pub food, is relatively small, so they're concentrating on quality. Between us we had olives and padron peppers as nibbles, grilled spiced mackerel and crispy ox cheek as starters, then duck breast and the por
First time visiting the Yew Tree Inn but it don't won't be my last. Fabulous food in a lovely setting. Highly recommended.
Just called for a drink. Outside area is pleasant in the sunshine and inside is probably cosy in cooler months. Good choice of gin on the bar and beer from Rivington brewery. Worth calling in on a walk around Anglezarke.
Lovely lunch, impromptu visit during a walk round Rivington/Anglezarke. Met by a lovely guy and told we could sit anywhere. Lovely cosy fires burning - very welcoming on a chilly day ! We'd only called in for a quick bite but was told there was only a standard 3 course menu but this was very varied
Absolutely fabulous find, amazing food, great beer paired with brilliant service. Couldn’t fault it
