Nice quirky tearooms with indoor and outdoor seating. Also dog friendly. Really nice and friendly service. Great quality food at a very reasonable price. We all had breakfasts, ranging from bacon cobs through to a full breakfast and it was all delicious. The cakes looked good too! Hots drinks were all good, and I particularly liked my tea being served in a pot. It's a nice touch, and the tea was excellent too! We will definitely be back.

5 minute walk from mapperly lake, nice tea room with indoor and outdoor seating. Great for a quick stop during a dog walk, but water bowls were all empty when we arrived. Homemade cakes and scones plus good coffee, and they have dog friendly snacks avaliable. The lad that served me was going a great job, friendly staff.

Beautiful historical building in a stunning location. Lovely to sit in the garden at one of the many picnic tables when the sun is out. Looks lovely to sit inside too, and we are so looking forward to cosying up indoors when the weather turns! Really friendly staff, who were so welcoming to us and our little dog. They do the BEST sausage and bacon rolls, and the full English is incredible too. Absolutely delicious food. I'm excited to visit again and sample more of the wonderful menu, especially some of their stunning cakes! Our dog even had her very own "pupcake" made with pet safe ingredients, and topped with a doggy biscuit! It's so lovely to see somewhere which is so welcoming to dogs. They really go above and beyond for our furry friends! The scenery is beautiful, right in the edge of gorgeously woodlands and is visited by many wild birds and squirrel. We can't wait to visit again!

Beautiful outside area 😍 even had some horse riders stop for cuppa. Welcome fire inside if there's space as very popular with dog owners 😀 Great fish finger sandwiches 🥪 😋

Best place to stop for a drink and a snack. Very friendly staff. November 22nd Derby Lodge open for Takeaway. The sad thing is we had taken our own drinks won't make that mistake again. We could smell the bacon as we passed. These images were taken very near to Derby Lodge. 23rd April just been to the lodge since Christmas, wonderful service by nice people. Great Bacon and Sausage cob well worth the wait. We have been again 10th April 2022, great food Bacon and Sausage Sandwich, Ham Salad Sandwich and a really good Fruit Scone. 7th October 2022 still one of the best Bacon and Sausage Sandwich also had a beautiful Almond Slice. Still First Rate.

Lovely place for a drink and a snack while walking. Prices are great and a good selection for a small historical place. Staff are friendly and helpful. Too many dog walkers outside for me however. Not everybody likes dogs, especially in packs, which was the case today. However they do help special needs in employment which is a big bonus
