Grove Alehouse - Hazel Grove - Photo album

A small welcoming bar with wonderful hosts Ang and Scott. Great choice of ales beers ciders and Gins . Friendly atmosphere from staff and locals a must place to go. See you again soon
It is several years since I visited the Grove Alehouse, so I wasn't sure, given the parlous state of the Pub world these days, if it would even still be open. However, I am pleased to report that The Grove is still alive and well, and living in Hazel Grove. I met and chatted with landlady Ange, and
This is a great real ale bar. Cosy but with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Lovely beer garden at the rear for when the weather improves. Ang and Scott always have a brilliant selection of ales, many that you're unlikely to find anywhere else locally. They always have a stout or porter on as we
Cannot remember this pub much but small and cozy lol
This place has got to be one of the best experiences I've ever had. Ange and Scott keep the beer to absolute perfection, more than competitive prices and the atmosphere is beyond world class. Welcomed like family, I'll never stop coming.
Micro pub with good beer and friendly locals. Decent pork pies also. On Hazel Grove main street.
Not my usual type of place but there was a friendly welcome and a great choice of drinks at fair prices. Very small place but worth a look if you are passing
A great addition to the Hazel Grove drinking scene. A modern bar that opened a few years back in converted shop premises. Although small, they manage to fit four or five tables in beside the bar. They sell a good range of five cask beers, and real ciders. Friendly owners and staff make this place st
Excellent range of real ales and ciders, always well kept; great gins too. Good atmosphere, a fab place to spend time. Ange and Scott are doing a great job, well worth a visit if you're in Hazel Grove.
Exactly what I want from a small-bar. Decent number of seats, friendly landlady and 5 regularly changing, well-kept ales. Good selection of gins as well, but the beer is too good for me to bother with that... Easy to get to, it's on the A6, and the 192 bus stops 50m from the front door. Lovely.
The Grove ale House 🏡 is such a lovely place so friendly great owners so nice and cheerfull, some landlords, /ladies should visit and see how it should be done
Excellent ale, pleasant environment, with a lovely hostess
Wow! A Great little place, neatly tucked in on the A6 you can sit in here and either watch the world go by or read one of the many books they have. Lovely couole who own the place. Many different types of ale. I went in alone to get out of the rain, I was made to feel really welcome. A wealth of kn
Good cozy little bar.
Popped in while we had a hour to kill & was blown away by the hospitality & service. Plenty of locally made beer, ale & cider. They also have a great selection of spirits. Not the biggest place in the world but loads of character. The also do take away 4 pint jugs, so you can take your favourite tip
Friendly, great service and always a decent choice of beers.Called in for the Mild Challenge and found a great selection of beer, tried the Creme Bearlee and it was amazing. Calling in for the next range that are coming up cos they look amazing.
Great little place in the Grove tasty craft ales on tap. Great that they hace unique opening times, easy to miss though as I did 1st time visiting but, once you know where it is it you've found yourself a crackibg place!
Recently came under new management, who are very hands on and passionate about it. They always have an interesting selection of ales and obviously know their stuff. The German lager they have on is a winner too! Definitely will be returning often.
Small place with a fabulous selection of varied selection of beers ciders and lagers you wouldn't normally see in 'branded' pubs. Get in early space can be limited.
