Having had mixed feeling over various menu changes decided to give it another chance. I must say it was great. From start to finish our waitress was on top form polite, efficient and knew her job. Food has gone more like the 'old harvester' which for us was a good thing. The magician was good the children we enthralled. 10/10.

We've been 3 people, having lunch. We ordered three different meals like: BBQ pulled pork beef burger, Cheese &Bacon Beef burger and Half Rotisserie. Really enjoyed all our meals. Also at the beginning we have had some salads, mixed by us - really nice! Nice experience, nice food, prompted serving.

The staff was very welcoming. I found there wasn't much choice on the salad bar . I have the gammon steak and I found it very salty so I couldn't eat it all.

Harvester in haywards Heath. Great service and food! Very welcoming and accommodating especially when my son was sad that the chicken was not breaded so he had a meltdown. The staff were really understanding and polite! Didn’t have to wait long to be served or receive our food. Will be coming again!

I brought three children here for lunch today. We were served by Cat, who was so friendly and helpful. It was really busy and she was clearly rushed off her feet, but she never made that our problem, nothing was too much trouble. Very nice food, we were all very happy and full by the time we left!

food was nice. Staff were lovely. Cat was a lovely attentive and thoughtful waitress who went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed and was amazing with the kids. she deserves a raise- i hope harvester know how lucky they are to have her!

More spacious then your average harvester. Really accommodating and friendly staff. Food was a little slow arriving so our waiter chased it up without us having to ask. Food up to the usual reliable standard for Harvesters. All in all, a very pleasant stop

We have had a family gathering now a few times, we know the place, its convenient to meet up. The waitress was very helpful dealing with special food allergies. The food didn't all arrive together, people were eating whilst others were waiting.

Great place for recreation, having fun with the kids on the lawn or playground, enjoying picnics or just watching the world passing by. A big bonus is the Harvester Restaurant right on the grounds, which is lovely for a nice cool drink or even a meal.

Pretty much what you'd expect from a Harvester. The food was fine, the service OK, but the waitress was rushed off her feet, short of staff like everywhere else, I guess. The man who seated us was grumpy.

Excellent food and friendly atmosphere. Reasonable prices too. Thea was excellent and even went the extra mile to offer to charge my phone behind the bar when she heard that it was low and I was looking for somewhere to charge.

We’ve just eaten at the Beech Hurst Harvester in the way back from a wet and windy afternoon on the beach. I had the dirty vegan burger and to be honest it was a bit over cooked (as veggie burgers often are as they don’t need to be cooked as long as meat ones). I mainly came in here to write a review because of our fab waitress, Chloe. She went above and beyond the usual service. She checked out a few voucher offers that we had, to see if they worked, and was so helpful with our two little fussy eaters (one veg dodger, one with no front teeth 🤣) even getting a few chips extra for them so they didn’t have to share a plate. She was a natural with them, which led to the littlest one declaring his love to her! So thank you so much Chloe! Keep on doing what you do as you’re a gem (give this amazing woman a bonus!)

Updated Review. Visited for food on Saturday evening for a birthday meal as we thought it would be a great shout. We were greeted at the door and very polite gentlemen that showed us to our table. We had a slight wait, but then our waitress arrived, and I have to say I don't think I have had someone so tentative, caring, knowledgeable, has more stories about her own cat and is comical in her story telling as her. Cat was a star, and even though there was a slight mix-up, meaning I had a delayed dinner, she kept checking in saying sorry for the mistake and even made me laugh a few times. The food was good. The salad bar was good, and the place was clean. A few rude customers throughout the evening there and wonder why people are like that, absolutely no need for it. No candles for cake but did a beautiful plate with happy birthday for my stepdaughter, and she was blown away, as we was too. Am,ING effort. Despite the mix-up, I will revist and eat again. The manager was amazing. He was honest, open, and again, very sorry for the mix-up. He listened to his staff and he acted on their concerns as well. Cat, our waitress was amazing, and honestly, those 2 made an average experience one we all came away from smiling, happy, and full. Thank you all. See you soon.

Service was great. Beans came out luke warm in a plastic pot, changed straight away and came back hot and in a metal pot. Mushrooms on a steak dish were black, burnt and solid, these should not have left the kitchen.
